Thanks for showing the new main railway station in Belgrade and the high speed train. Hopefully, in a few years we will have another line to Subotica in north Serbia, and then to Budapest, and in about five years another one to Nis in south Serbia.

I admit the fortress is not much to look at but is actually a military masterpiece. the largest of its kind in the world and with the largest network of tunnels. called the Gibraltar of the Danube. just as Gibraltar controls the access to the Mediteranean, so does Petrovaradin controls all the traffic on the Danube. and both are built on a rock 😅
anyway, thanks for the many nice words about the lovely Novi Sad

I have a story to tell here about Novi Sad, in 2016 i was there with two tunisian friends for the weekend, pn sunday morning we were leaving the city and we went to a pekara to eat something before our train leaves. I forgot my staff there my little bag and there was 560 EUR inside it, my passeport, 2 credit cards , we took the train and as the train took off i foundout that i left my things there, we stopped in indjia, the train stop just there it was direct one. we found the pekara on google, we called and they said your things are here come back to picjit up. we went back, i found my things and nothing was missing, i offered 50 eur to the worker there and she did refuse it and got offended. i baught them flowers, chocolates and drinks and i never saw a honest people like them. hope you will visit or go to live there it is amazing people, Novi sad, Zrenjanin, Sremska mitrovica... really great peope

If you don't know the meaning of the Serbian flag witch of you said.... the Red, blue and white colours meaning....
It is believed among the people that red colour on the Serbian flag represents the blood shed for this country, the blue represents freedom, while the white represents mother's milk feeding strong Serbian children.

07:15 seems like you havent seen old Zemun part of Belgrade, because its not much different then old Novi Sad. Similar like Pančevo which was, in time when my grandmother was born there 100years ago, also together with Belgrade+Zemun but communists separate it from city metropolitan area. So on 3 sides of 2 rivers there are 3 cities: Belgrade, Zemun, Pančevo. Also, mentioned Hungary is today Hungary but in past lot of Serbs were also there, like center of Budim part Tabanvci where majority was Serbian population but today moved to Serbia 100 years ago or abSorbed, there is also Rac /Serbian bath when Muslim Serbs ruled Budapest (Sokolovic Mehmed), or even earlier Serbian 15th century ruler Stefan Lazarevic house preserved in Budim, or even earlier Sibinjanin Janko (on hun. Janoš Hunjadi) who fought in Serbia against Tursk and founder of Corvin Hungarian dynasty... But biggest difference is made in 18th century in architecture

And I can advise you, best time of actually enjoying all that Belgrade has to offer including that extreme energy and vibe, is in my opinion during summer time, and if oyu don´t like extreme heat then September is really good. Still around 25 C and slightly up but not close to that almost 35-40 C that you have during the peak months.
