Here were putting the 2024 refreshed Cadillac XT4 against the Volvo XC40.
Both have similar power figures and use a 2.0 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. Inside, there's quite the difference with Cadillac's mega 33-inch screen against Volvo's 9-inch offering.

Which one are you taking the key fob to between these luxury subcompact crossovers?
We owned a 2019 XT4 Sport since new, and were very pleased with it. It was very reliable, with only two minor trim issues, both fixed under warranty. We just traded it on a 2024 XT4 Sport, because the many upgrades were just irresistible. A coworker had two late model Volvos, and he told me couldn't wait to get rid of both of them, as there were so many problems. He drives a Mazda SUV now and told me he would never, ever consider another Volvo.
XT4 looks so good now! 🤤

We have a 2024 love it. Be nice if it had more power.
The XT4 does not share a platform with the TrialBlazer/Encore GX which are on the VSS-F platform while the XT4 and the Buick Envision are on the E2XX platform.
Premium fuel for VOLVO VS regular for the CADILLAC? Would be big plus for Cadillac
What's the fix for the rattle in the dash? My.2024 developed a rattle in that same location after 2 days of owning it. The tech at the.dealer heard it too. Going in Monday. Hope they figure it out
Update. The dealer fixed the rattle that sounded like it was located near the top of the dash near the windshield. The issue was with the windshield sensor housing located in the assembly under the rearview mirror. The service bulletin is: 23-NA-220 (For noise from dash area).

Look ten years time , Caddy will be totally worn out, the Volvo, just run in.
6 years you’ll need to replace the engine and transmission on the Volvo. Don’t read the Volvo forums, do you.
Youll survive any crash in the volvo. But want to kill yourself when you get the repair bill for the Caddy. Easy choice.
