Installing Brake Cooling in the E36 Track car!

In this video we will be installing the ST Trackparts Brake Cooling Kit on my E36 track car.

Installing the kit is pretty easy and plug and play. The only thing you need to do is remove the old dust plate.

I’ve used the same duct but for the Dinan Intake on my e46. Would you recommend doing stainless steel brake lines? Are they an upgrade or not? (M54B30)

I wish someone made a kit that utilizes the duct work and holes that are already there instead of losing the foglights

Yes, you can also order the left duct and air hose separately. If you know Simon, he uses 1 duct to feed the engine intake

Heel gaaf! Afgelopen zaterdag op Assen gereden met 330pk saab met EBC Redstuff blokken. Op rechte stukken een raket maar remweg van een bus. Heb je tips? Merkte wel dat ik trillende remmen had zodra ze warm werden maar dit was weg toen ze koud waren (overheated EBC Redstuff?)
Het is dus een 1360kg saab waarbij ik richting de ramshoek 200kmh haal. Ik heb braided lines liggen maar nog niet gemonteerd. Ik twijfel over om EBC Yellow of Bluestuff te kopen, braided lines te monteren + Peformance Dot 4 en evt kijken wat de mogelijkheden zijn voor brake cooling (heb geen hitte schilden ivm 308mm rotors in plaats van de stock 285mm
Als ik jou was zou ik EBC dan gelijk overslaan. Prima pad voor straat performance maar met zoveel gewicht en vermogen kom je veel te kort. Ben erna overgestapt op Endless, en dat remde zonder te overdrijven 5x zo hard

Are there any down sides of having the brake cooling ?
Not really, it only takes a bit longer for your brakes to get up to temperature. But that’s not really a problem
What rotors are you using?
I'm using ATE Powerdiscs, very happy with them so far
