Chang'e 6 mission will attempt to obtain the first-ever soil and rock samples from the lunar far side and return it to the Earth.
The primary phase of the mission is expected to last about 53 days.
The Chinese Lunar Exploration Program is designed to be conducted in four phases of incremental technological advancement.
The goal of the first phase is to reach lunar orbit, this was completed by Chang’e 1 in 2007.
The second phase of Chang’e 2 seeks to land and rove on the Moon, in 2010.
Chang’e 3 succeeded in landing on the moon in 2013 and Chang’e 4 in 2019.
The third phase involves Change’s 5 collecting of lunar samples and sending them to Earth in 2020.
The fourth phase consists of the development of a robotic research station near the Moon's south pole as well as to facilitate crewed lunar landings in the 2030s and possibly build a crewed outpost near the lunar south pole. China ready to launch lunar far side sample return mission
Chang’e-6 aims to achieve breakthroughs in the design and control technology of the Moon’s retrograde orbit, intelligent sampling, take-off and ascent technologies, and automatic sample-return on the far side of the moon.
Chang'e 6 is a planned robotic Chinese and Pakistani lunar exploration.
The mission will also include international scientific payloads from France, Sweden, Italy, and a Pakistani cubesat. The collaborations reflect Chinese efforts to boost its international cooperation in space exploration.
12 countries and organizations express willingness to deepen space cooperation before Chang’e-6 launch
Around 50 guests from 12 countries’ space agencies including Pakistan, France, and Italy, as well as representatives from the United Nations and the European Space Agency expressed on Friday willingness to seek cooperation with China in lunar and deep space exploration.
The Chang’e-6 mission will carry a number of international payloads to the Moon, including the European Space Agency's lunar surface ion analyzer, France's radon detection instrument, Italy's laser corner reflector, and a CubeSat from Pakistan.
The participants expressed willingness to seek new cooperation in lunar and deep space exploration with China.
China is willing to work with more countries to expand human knowledge on space, enhance the well-being of all human kind, and serve the advancement of human civilization.
The Chang'e-6 mission is tasked with collecting and returning samples from the moon's mysterious far side, the first endeavor of its kind in the history of human lunar exploration.

Back in the 1950s and 1960s, the USSR space program was advancing rapidly with all kinds of "Firsts" and the US got mad... Kennedy declared it's a "space race" (the term first used ever) and committed the US to put the first man on the moon, just to WIN the race.
After the "WIN", the US played cool like the big brother to the small brother and declared the space race is over and started to cooperate with the USSR in space through several programs.
In the 1990s, the US started to see China is rising and don't trust the Chinese... so, they created the ISS space station and invited everyone... except China. Congress even passed laws to prohibited China from the ISS space station.
China was disappointed and determined to build their own space station. They accomplished that goal with the Tiangong space station and put their own taikonauts to man the station.
Now the US is once again behind like during the USSR era, they are starting to drum up the term "Space Race" again... but China has been ignoring them and just moving on doing what they're doing with their own space program. Hence, the US belligerent and hateful rhetoric with their mainstream news media's propaganda.

This could be good for mankind, now we have 2 powers competing in the space program. Hope it bring further breakthrough, and benefits mankind as what the Americans did on the last 50 years.
