Nurgloth is an.. interesting boss for sure. I feel like if they didn't make him such a damage sponge, he'd be fine. You obviously don't want to be able to just insta delete him, and his attacks aren't super frustrating, but the immense health pool along with lots of enemies being spawned and the nature of the attacks (covering most of the fucking arena, and stunlocking you for more than a second) just makes it an abysmally boring and unfun fight. It's one of the few moments in the game I just don't care for in the slightest. Literally all they would need to do is just reduce his health pool, then he wouldn't be nearly as bad
Very true, however most of the time I hate his for the flys he spews out causing the entire team to just get clapped cause they forget they exist and during the land leg enemies are all around you and the area gets cut into a quarter as hes pushing someone back lol

Nurgloth is such a powerful sorcerer of the Rotfather, he breaks the 4th wall while you fight him and gives you cancer IRL.

I am here to make nurgloth insanely easy by completely neutralizing his most difficult aspect: movement. Now listen closely.
Go foot knight with shield and mace, 30 block cost reduction and push block angle on the weapon, 30 block cost reduction on the necklace, and 30 stamina recovery on the trinket.
That's only 60% block cost reduction so we also need the rock of reiksland skill. now blocking is super cheap, 80% block cost reduction, and we're gonna exploit this.
We equip the skill counter punch, and we stand in front of nurgloth WHEN HE *STARTS FLYING,* block the hit for cheap, and do a push attack combo for free.
You also tell your team not to attack nurgloth when he starts flying, and you lead him to the dangerous part of the death circle. This gives your teammates lots of space to fight horde.
You grind down nurgloth slowly, teammates cover your back from horde. It takes a few minutes but this guarantees a win. EZ.

@@getinthis It takes a while to get the timing right, but i can do this strat with basically a 95% win rate unless entire team dies to horde.
And even then with battering ram and good block you can just mash yourself through horde to res team yourself.

It was very tempting to skip forward in the video but that would miss the point so I didn't. x)
This just reminds me of why I don't like to play on the higher difficulties. Challenge can be fun but there comes a point where enemies take so long to kill it's just not satisfying to me anymore.
Nah I understand you sometimes I cant even watch my own footage because ive watched it over 10 times
in quickplay legend is actually easier than champion (in my experience). Sure the game gets harder, but usually your teammates play much better too.
@@magmakojote1663 I mostly play with just one friend and neither he, the bots or I play better on legend. xD
He counts as a berseker, shotguns with + berserk and chaos work really well.
Especially if you use an invis class like ranger vet or huntsmen.
Pop a str, go invis, you will melt him.
I love this boss, one of the hardest and most interresting, tho I haven't seen him in a while, 100+ quickplays have passed since i last saw him, it's weird.
great teamwork. everyone is a boss of their own right.
For a Nurgle Rotblood plague soreceror, he's pretty tanky.

Either lower his health or lower the intensity of the minions in the fight. Hell it’s likely be fine if there were no elites
elites are fine they dont spawn very often as it is
@@getinthis while I generally agree, it seems to be those instances that usually spell defeat. Things like what happened to the Kruber in this vid for example. Of course I’d still prefer the boss having less health, but if they want to keep him specifically as a super strong demon then fine, but then they’d have to tone down other aspects of the fight
@@Herr_Gamer sure no yea i remember in the ToT map that released last year they made the final stage extremally difficult for casual players who are normally playing on champion and legend, to cata players it was no big deal but everyone was mad about it lol
@@getinthis only recently redownloaded the game and played that map, thought it was fine on legend. Was instead more surprised about the changes to chaos wastes, though I feel like it may have been a bug: barely faced any specials in one map untill the final stretch where I counted disablers will into double digits with no special event or trigger seemingly causing it. Was also very surprised opening a chest of trials to be faced with plague vermin and leeches rather than bosses
