      That is a great idea so that you have somewhere to rinse off after going in the sauna.

      Hi did you ever install this alongside your sauna? I've been thinking of building an outdoor sauna and wanted to do the same and was hoping for some feedback. Thank you for any advice or info you can offer.🙏😁

    Am living here for 9 years and only got hot water (solar) a few months ago;. I use PPR now instead of PVC. Enjoy your hot weather

      Thanks chippy and when I was deployed to Kuwait in 2010, we only had hot water that was heated in a black bladder on the roof of the buildings. When I came home, I looked forward to taking cold showers...lol

    For your shower head what is the size of the mail thread on the PVC adapter? The slip is 1/2 but is the male thread 1/2 or 3/4

      Mark, the male thread size on the adapter is also 1/2 inch...

    Can I do this with metal piping?

    • @MannyFontes1968
      @MannyFontes1968  Před 2 lety

      Yes you can and I would use copper piping or galvanized and if you live in a cold climate, I would add a drain at the bottom so you can drain it before winter.

      @@MannyFontes1968 thanks! We live in NJ so we get about 3 months of cold weather. What are the pros/cons of the copper vs galvanized?

    • @MannyFontes1968
      @MannyFontes1968  Před 2 lety

      @@linda07030 copper will not rust but will oxidize over time just from being outside. Copper will cost more and requires soldering. Galvanized can still rust over time but is cheaper than copper and all fittings come threaded so makes it easier to assemble.
