The mixing engineers of this concert are literal gods
Yeah it’s so good! Idk how they mix with so many mics at once
i think it soo,!
I was just thinking the same
They’ve evolved beyond the craft.
@@jakepers0n138 My GUESS is that a lot of it was pre recorded.... If not? that is some of the best mixing that has ever been done.
"SO COME RAIN ON MY PARAAAAAAADE..."
*chills everywhere*
Omg I literarilly read that as he said that.
Lust94 seriously though... literal chills. I feel this in my soul.
I read your comment and the replies and kinda just rolled my eyes and proceeded to hit play. I listen to only rap but my friend showed me this album and this was my favorite song on it. Holy shit talk about chills. Once that moment hit I was like fuck that dude in the comments was right lmao
3:43 if anyone cares to have their mind blown again.
Kudos to Jordan Fish for that. The cameraman didn't show him, but it was Fish who sung that most of the times
I wonder how the orchestra felt while performing this.
I mean, they're probably used to very formal crowds that just clap after every performance, but here the crowd literally cheered after their overture and sang at the top of their lungs, must've been surreal.
I've played in the orchestra for much smaller versions of events like this - a band accompanied by a symphony orchestra. the biggest and most serious one I did was just last week, for about 2500 people in the audience. I'm in university, so the thought of playing for that many people was nuts - I've never done anything like it. the energy was insane, it really was magic. loved it. and it was a comparatively tame group (Indigo Girls) compared to BMTH. but still just amazing. if I could only gig for events like that, I would.
As a fan of metal, country, rock, rap, etc, THIS is my “if I could have been at one concert” concert. The blend of orchestra and band is so well written and is so well done. I could only imagine hearing it live.
I totally agree!
Couldn't agree more. I love every genre of music, and this would be the concert that If i could choose out of any concert to have ever happened to go to myself, I would choose this one
You and me both , I've seen bmth 3 times now and they've played doomed every time and not once with an orchestra 😂 I can't help but be disappointed
5:24 always get me. i love how everyone just becomes a part of the magic.

Ms. Marie The Book Sniffer Same
The chills
6:10 "as loud as you can"
Ms. Marie The Book Sniffer that's the beauty of concerts, especially BMTH. The crowd becomes a part of the show. They sing along and it's honestly the greatest thing ever. (I've been to a BMTH concert and it was the greatest night of my life)

Just a pure masterpiece.
Jordan's backing vocals is just so good. Yes
Wathing it idk 10th time since I discovered it around half a year ago.. It's amazing..
Probably like over 100
I don't exactly know why but this part always breaks me:
"So leave a light on, I'm coming home.
It's getting darker but I'll carry on.
The sun don't shine, but it never did.
And when it rains it fucking pours, but I think I like it.
And you know that I'm in love with the mess,
I think I like it."
best part 100%
The thing that always gets me is how Oli screams at the end and the immediate drop of the music after for the crowd to help sing the chorus. It always gets to me
I've been advocating how Oli is a fantastic lyricist and you've put your finger on it. He's able to bring to life imagery and feelings that are tangent and real without naming them. In another song he simply says the square doesn't fit the circle and it immediately invokes that little box with the star shaped holes and the star shaped pieces. A fantastic singer, I wonder how much is him and how much is the rest of the band, keyboardist often seem to have a great understanding of notes and sounds and meanings. I wonder...
I'm scrolling down and read this as this verse is playing. Has to be fire 🔥
It’s the emotion in the vocals for me tbh, gotta love it
I love the conductor's smirk at 5:38! He's just like "I've made a masterpiece."
But he didn’t write the lyrics or song for that matter.
@@H.E.M. but he arranged the orchestral score. which is pretty tough
Jeremiah Fernandez tbh is not even that noticeable. You’re giving him to much credit.

I went to this gig on my own because nobody wanted to go with me and I’m so glad I did! The atmosphere mixed with the orchestra and the amazing live performance from the boys was something else. @@henrygaraffa5584 I very much doubt they would practice everyday thinking: "They will probably not enjoy this piece."
Ofcourse they thought they would. If they'd think that what they're currently practicing doesn't sound according to the expectations of the audience they'd change various things about the piece. They wouldn't just call it a day knowing that the audience may not enjoy it.

Literally there is no way someone can hate this. It is absolutely beautiful. The rich orchestra, the invigorating band, the echoing sound of the choir, the lead singer's emotional voice. The only thing you could ask for is a better recording...being there live had to be an experience akin to heaven on earth. There is no way any human could possibly hate this, as there is something for everyone in this.
Yeah I showed this to my friend and she said she didn't like it. I mean...what the fuck?! It's a fucking masterpiece, every single second of this song is perfect, how could someone not like this? But well...I'll just let her listen to that mainstream radio pop music. This is so fucking epic though.
@@yupthatsmyusername3596 The thing is, there is no much difference between this song and the "mainstream radio pop music", which is the exact reason why so many people who listened to BMTH's previous songs hate them nowadays.Your friend, though, might just hate the song for the sake of hating it, which is normal behaviour for minors (and which I assume both of you are). Most of the time, people/children feel like they need to like/dislike specific music to prove loyality or specialty or i dunno what.
Nevertheless, I agree with the fact that the orchestra works very well with BMTH's newer songs and - in my opinion - you must be some kind of misanthropist to hate the musical and emotional harmony, not only in the song but also in the crowd. This isn't about "I only listen to ...." or "I hate it, cause I need to be special", this is about good sense and rationality.

Yes, it wasn't just you, I felt it too and hard. Cried harder and got even more chills at that juncture. This is epic
cam c they are raising money for teenage cancer trust and for the hospital thay save his sons life so he would be emotional but that makes it better and he is giving everything he has, so it was not a yawn and thats not overthinking it.
watching this after Parasite Eve i realise... Bring Me The Horizon is something else i can’t describe
fuck yes man, they was something different like 15 years now but the new BMTH reminds me was Linkin Park nowadays, very strong band with each songs a classic.
Amen to that
I’ll tell you: they are next level, and don’t like being put in a booth when it comes to their style.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees this
this is so iconic, I have the chills
I i could go back in time and attend any one concert in all of history, it would be here.
Cinematic rock: easily one of the best genres known to man.
You know Starset by chance? I feel like BMTH should take some tips from them.
HIROYUKI Sawano
We Are The Empty fancy to see you here
ha hey kenny xd
Putting sustained strings on top of the guitars/making a staccato intro (My demons in nutshell) doesn't make you any authority in orchestration. To be frank, it isn't even the role of the band to make these - a mastering engineer or his crew does this.
So no, given Oliver actually composed this (I don't know if he did), he'd be way better musician than the ones in Starset and he is not the one who should get tips.
The combination of oli and the orchestra and the band sent chills through me, the hair on my arms is standing on end.
Cody Lathrop your not alone
Cody Lathrop same omg it took my breath away
i watched it as soon as it was released on toutube and the exact same thing with me i absolutely love this song
freya Windsor and Jordan! His vocals blew me away
Cody Lathrop I know. Especially with this song. It adds so much beauty and emotion
almost 2024 and still the most amazing live preformance i have ever seen. whatd id give to have been there in person
Don’t be sad you only found this now, be thrilled for what’s to come after.
Cuz it’s epic!!!
Dear Bring Me The Horizon,
I am 41 years old and I am late, so to speak, to your scene. I've loved Tool, Chevelle, Ten Years, Breaking Benjamin, etc. My roots are well grasped with the Dead, Led Zeppelin, Allman Brothers, The Who, Clapton, Jeff Beck, Skynryd, etc. However THIS sound is of it's own. Please keep, remember this sound, this #@$% changes lives. Whatever it is you think you've come upon now, stop......and remember this power. I've heard Jordan say this was his favorite album of all .......ever, remember this.
Very powerful comment
Remember us, Remember that's we lived
this is correct. this album has changed my life. even made it not stop.
That’s the spirit is pretty boring imo. I’m surprised that’s he’s favorite. Amo is better
