@Simple Viking I think his cover of Ghost Love Score sounds more like Tarja Turunen's (Nightwish's original vocalist from Finland). To that end, I would recommend reacting to a live performance of Ghost Love Score with Tarja BEFORE reacting to Yannis Papadopoulos's cover.

*BEAST IN BLACK is Anton Kabanen's [Lead guitar & keyboards] new band since 2015. Before he was in BATTLE BEAST, another Finnish band. I can highly recommend the BATTLE BEAST songs "Black Ninja", "Master Of Illusion", "Eye Of The Storm", "No More Hollywood Endings". From BEAST IN BLACK a lot of songs like "From Hell With Love", "Crazy, Mad, Insane", "One Night In Tokyo". I can also highly recommend the Swedish bands AMARANTHE and EVERGREY. 🎵EVERGREY tracks I would start with "Eternal Nocturnal" and the AMARANTHE "rabbit hole" I would start with "The Nexus", "Viral" or "365". Just found your channel last week, and I'm really enjoying the "don't really know what's going on, but I'm having fun" vibe. It's genuine and a joy to watch. This song was also my introduction to Beast in Black a few years back, and I've been a huge fan ever since. If you want to hear their latest stuff, you can't go wrong with either of the singles from their new album: "Moonlight Rendezvous" or "One Night in Tokyo." There is also an R-rated video for "Hardcore," but I haven't seen many people react to that so I am assuming it can cause issues for reactors due to the age check.
You gotta check out "Cry out for a hero", their best song in my opinion.
Also, please check out their singer Yannis Papadopolous. His cover of Nightwish's Ghost Love Score is especially spectacular.

Power metal aficionado here. You're absolutely right that it has "pop" elements and styles from 80s singers. That is by design, it is very positive-sounding music. This band has so much synth that my music buff friend and I have dubbed it "disco power metal". So glad you enjoyed it so thoroughly, I generally don't start people on this song but if it gels, it gels.

Found this band a while ago and I just feel so impressed with the voice of the singer!
They are Finnish, and have been touring with Nightwish.

They aren't all Finnish though. Guitarists and drummer are, but the bassist is Hungarian and the singer is Greek. Band is based in Helsinki and most of the members are Finnish so it's not completely incorrect to call them Finnish, I just wanted to point this out.

My Favourite Beast in Black song is Berzerker. A much heavier song from an olderr album. Also can't go past their newest stuff One Night in Tokyo blew me away.
Great band, their song and video from midnight rendezvous is awesome too, has a very dystopian feel like the movie blade runner

I love how Yannis' voice always gets everyone so off-guard. He's a really talented guy. Beast in Black in general is a very fun band to get into.
As for something new to discover, I suggest Powerwolf, a power metal band from Germany. Their music videos for "Dancing With The Dead" and "Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend" are probably the best places to start with them.
I would also like to see what you think of Orden Ogan, another great German metal band that isn't as widely known as they should be. "Heart Of The Android" is how I first discovered them, so perhaps give that one a try.
Most of my Beast in Black favorites come from the album From Hell With Love, especially that song.
Btw Yannis Papadopolous (the Greec Singer of Beast In Black) did an awesome Vocal cover to Ghost Love Score on his own youtube channel so i'd highly recommend to check that out ^^

Liked your reaction to this video a lot! I'd like to recommend some more Beast in Black; From Hell With Love, Moonlight Rendezvous (super-awesome video) and One Night in Tokyo. They have other fantastic songs too, for example Unlimited Sin, but there's no video for that song.

I discovered Beast In Black a couple of years ago in Stockholm, when they were one of the support acts for the Rhapsody of Fire reunion tour. Definitely one of the best support act discoveries for me.
The singer of the band, Yannis Papadopoulos, has his own channel on CZcams too, and his solo covers are definitely worth checking out.

(Legendary and epic night😁) As you mentioned you never have been to a concert, if you wanna see why people go to concerts watch "The bards song" and "Valhalla" from "Blind guardian" Wacken 2016. As a german I have to recommend Blind Guardian "The bards song and Valhalla" life in Wacken 2016 🙃🤟 Go for it it's fun. And for me not missing that I leave a subcribe 🙂
Great reaction to a great song. Another band you may like is Mono Inc. There are many songs, but maybe Welcome to hell would be a good start. And of course, is you want to go on with Rammstein, Mein Hertz brennt is a great song.

I have heard people refer to Beast in Black as metal that you can do aerobics to. If you want to check out a new band, try Heaven and Hell by Wisdom, the official video. They are a totally underrated band.

His voice reminds me a little of Brittney Slayes from unleash the archers when he does the power screams. She sings lower than him normally through the verses of her songs though. While I'm on about it though you should really check out some unleash the archers

You really should check out powerwolf! Dancing with the dead or we drink your blood is a good place to start. Powerwolf got me into powermetal and its my favorite band!

You should try and listen to Wind Rose (Dwarf inspired power metal), this band kinda has the same energy, though a bit more heavy imo

I find it weird that there are no mentions of Battle Beast. If you liked this look them up. Female fronted.
Background story as far as I know is that Anton Kabanen founded Battle Beast in school. He never copyrighted or claimed the rights for the band name so someone else did (not sure if it was label, band mate or who). After that they kicked him off the band and Anton kept his vision of Battle Beast alive by forming Beast in Black.
For that reason I have reservations about Battle Beast, even though I like their music. But kicking out the guy whos band and vision it was from the start is kinda douche move.
