Upgrade the brakes to cable actuated hydraulic brakes for $40 online. Makes a big difference in stopping power and less maintenance. Good value bike otherwise.
I do like the bike if it came working correctly and having to deal with "Angela" customer service person was awful wanted me to pay shipping to send the bike back for a new one then just kept sending parts till the right one worked and I had to pay to get these parts put on BUY LOCAL I just got my wife a ebike locally same thing wrong as the hipeak it took 15mins to fix compared to 2 months thru "Angela" shes terrible
Sheesh. The customer service with these ebike companies are usually trash (Unfortunately). This is why I usually like ebike that have a lot of standard parts.

I'm new to this I got it because I couldn't chase the fish anymore on the Cape Cod Canal after 7 back surgeries so I got the hipeak not a bad bike but I like the Mokwheel better but that's my limited knowledge what do I know I do know "Angela" is the worst cust serv ever.. thx bro be well

which is the better bike the starrun s20 or this hipeak. i can't buy both but i was leaning towards the Starrun
I would say the Starrun but...make sure the battery is currently available. Hipeak has a more standard battery.
