OUTSTANDING show in Seattle last night! Unforgettable experience. Seeing Shatter Me live was amazing, and your riffing on Lady Gaga's costume change was hilarious and adorable. I don't know if the stagehand stuffing the top over your head while you were trying to talk was planned or not, but if not: keep it! It totally sold the moment.

Shatter Me is my favorite song of yours, just because of the pure energy and passion that's in it. I loved the video, and I remember you talking about the story behind it at the LA temple, and that really showed through in the video. It was really fun to see how it all came together, I wish I could do stuff like that :)

Lindsey, I absolutely ADORE you and your music (I have always loved the sound of the violin) and your music videos. This music video, in particular, is especially emotional. My 2 sons love your music, and recently my 11 year old was hospitalized for an eating disorder....(I had tickets to see you last month in Toronto, but even though everyone told me to enjoy 1 night to myself, I really felt it was important to be by my son's side). Anyhow, my son knows you struggled with an eating disorder and so I think that is another reason why he loves you...anyhow, while we were in the hospital, we watched your videos, and during this one, towards the end of this video, he was crying uncontrollably. He really, really felt the message, felt the struggle, felt the fight in this video....I am curious, was this song written about your struggle with your eating disorder?? Either way, this is a powerful song & video, and it has a beautiful message. I hope you come back to Canada soon so I can see you in concert!!!!!

This absolutely helped start the shattering of my walled-up self. I've learned that you're never done with the process, but it takes that little bit of inspiration to help it begin. I get goosebumps whenever I listen to this song because of the positive path that I started on 2+ years ago because of this song. Thank you soooooo much Lindsey for writing this song. I am forever grateful to you for helping me crack the snow globe I had created around me, as I know how strong you've become when you battled your own demons.
My like life dream is to have the privilege to make a video like this. I play the violin, and have for only 5 months. I'm already trying to dance. I also do ballet, and am really excited to be able to play violin on pointe. Lindsey is such an inspiration to me, and I've gone to one of her concerts in Seattle, and I want to meet her so bad. I've heard she gives the best hugs 🤗 If she sees this, and tells me, it would make my day. No, it would make my 2017 the best year ever.

I've always been in awe over your music videos but this just made my previous opinion of how inspirational you are even stronger. The last thing you said about breaking free but being scared that there will be nothing left really touched my heart because I've been having that feeling quite often lately... Thank you Lindsey!
So you were both actually at the same video studio at the same time? Because when I saw the video, it looked like the two of you had been filmed at different places and just edited together, like maybe Ms. Hale was filmed somewhere near her tour in a clockwork set and you were filmed at one of your usual locations, and then you just shared the videos back and forth. That is what many other artists have done so often with collaborations. But awesome that you were actually together both when you did the track *and* again doing the video, so old school quality.
In 2012 I was cast in a film students short film and it was such a similar concept! I was a ballerina in a young girls music box and the girl wanted to be a ballerina so badly but she was horrible at dance so she made a wish that she could be a ballerina. When she made the wish I stepped out of the music box and became a human and gave her my pointe shoes. I then walked her up to the music box and she stepped in and she became the ballerina in the music box and I was finally free and could enjoy living. :)

Those make up artists are incredible...you look beautiful and exactly like you described...cracking. I cant imagine how hard it was to be up there nailed to the floor, and dangerous. Lindsey, every time I watch one of your videos I'm amazed when you say you put it together SUPER quickly. One week to shoot this one? Awesome! It's really inspiring because as a filmmaker I'm constantly making films last-minute (the video I gave you in San Francisco was shot in a day), somehow I work better under that time crunch. And it's especially encouraging because it shows you can always pull together something great with the right motivation. GREAT JOB!

Got to be honest, definitely the most amazing piece of music I have ever heard. Every single time I hear it I break out in goose bumps. I think she lives inside the snow globe where the ballerina lived.
+Lara Croft, She represents the work and drudgery involved in maintaining the "perfect" illusion put forth to the world. It is not glamorous and perfect, it is grimy, hard work. Keeping everything together and working smoothly is represented by the complicated gear works. She had no real bed or nice things, the one thing she loved was the "fake" doll robot which she sacrificed to grind everything to a halt and bring down the facade and illusion and break into the true self.
If you feel exhausted after a party or get together, you may have a little shattering to do. Your clockwork girl (or guy) is working hard to maintain the "show". When you break free, being with people is energizing and helps you feel alive and connected.
