Planting basil from seed

There is no amount of basil that is not used up, it is an essential spice from our kitchen garden.
If you want to grow basil by not saving potted basil, then plant it from seed! A little advice that will make planting successful: basil seeds germinate in the light, don't sprinkle soil on them!
