  • This is a free sample of our course on Geometry Nodes in Blender.
To gain access to the course, become an In-Depth Knowledge supporter of ours on Patreon: / entagma
In this episode we’ll look into how geometry is stored inside of Blender, how polygons define the connectivity of vertices and how Geometry Nodes is just another modifier, but one that can be customized without limits.
To follow the lessons you’ll need at least Blender 3.1. You can download the software here: www.blender.org/

I love that you started with the Fundamentals on "Why use Geometry nodes", It's nice a refresher for intermediates and a good start for beginners without overloading them with random nodes upfront

Even for someone using Blender for a while, this type of in-depth exploration of the program is awesome. Thank you for producing more Blender-related content.

OMG, this content you're making is just so underrated on CZcams.
It's the best insight into the details of blender's inner workings from the most technical viewpoint. Full of information presented in the exactly right sequence to fill up all the gaps and answer all the questions that come up while watching it.

Same. Heck, I never even made the connection with the icon colors before and what all the things actually were in the outliner. I'm pretty experienced with Blender's geometry nodes, having been using them since the very first version that included them, but this introductory video gave me the confidence to actually start digging into Blender's source code and perhaps contributing some new nodes someday. I wasn't really sure how the data was structured inside of Blender, but now it really makes sense.

Insta sub within the first few minutes. By far one of the most simple, quick, and clear explanations on blender principles. This would look like advance stuff but you brought it down to a newbie level. This amazing work here man.

Awesome, awesome tutorial. I am brand new to Blender, coming from years of modeling in engineering CAD like Solidworks and Fusion360. This video gave some really key insights into how Blender works that I was missing from all the other tutorials I've seen.
