You can RENT the Puller from Auto Zone or O'Reilly's for free (deposit required).
The timing belt tensioner adjustment is CRITICAL or you will jump a tooth or burn-out the water pump bearing.
The DOHC engine is NOT an "interference" engine as claimed by Chrysler ("interference" meaning valves will bend when timing belt brakes). Chrysler lies

It is interference, intake valves are not interfering with the pistons but exhausts are, I know it because when I turn the intake side camshaft there was no problem but I have problems turning exhaust camshafts at certain positions so I had to turn back to prevent damage.

@@davidgruen7423 Was the head rebuilt or modified? Most shops will plain the head (reducing clearance).
Chrysler statement to me was; "It has been determined that this engine is an interference engine." (Like saying; a little bit pregnant.)
Anyway the compression is 190psi and we have driven it another 60,000 miles (No valve job, no interference.)
Chrysler wanted $3,800 to fix broken belt that only lasted 95,000miles. I paid $38 (1%) for a new belt and did the work myself. If the belt breaks at 100,000miles it should be replaced at 50,000miles. Try selling that maintenance scheduled to the public. It's called a Safety Factor of 2 (2x). Imagine flying a plain with engines that fails 5k miles before maintenance is called for by design. If you rebuild the Head without replacing the Rod Bearings, you will need a rebuilt engine in 10,000 miles. You think Chrysler is betting on that one? Chrysler SUCKS!

@@fsoiberg the head was resurfaced, that might be why, and why were you talking about rod bearing?

@@davidgruen7423 The next thing to go after a Head Rebuild are the Rod Bearings. The Top End was rebuilt (new), but not the Bottom End with 100,000 miles on it. Sure way to throw a connecting rod. - czcams.com/video/WkI8Lo49Ggs/video.html (How to turn a $2,000 repair into a $4,000 repair; drive one mile with a rod-rap.)

No, it will not fit mounts, transmission, ECU, etc.

You sure can, check parts catalog for Dodge Neon SRT-4, you can download the app for 3 dollars on app store.
