I finally understand the symbolism with Hela, Thor, and Loki: the Dark Triad. Machiavellianism (Loki), Narcissism (Thor), and Psychopathy (Hela). Two can change, one cannot.
I've watched this movie 4 times, and I really can't feel the tension and the danger that Asgard is in or the tension in this fight for that matter. Too many jokes and silly moments during the whole movie. I really don't get why fans love this movie and iteration of Thor so much
Hahahaha Gore more like Bore. That guy was a joke if he was even meant to put up a challenge. Hela would completely shatter him in a battle! Odinforce, years experience of taking realms with Odin and she nearly wiped out all of Asgards guards. Its no contest!
After seeing how the Scarlet Witch escaped from the mirror dimension and seeing how she was healing and regenerating instantly, quickly and effectively, I just realized that Hela also has that "Resurrection" ability. I'm not surprised, they're both goddesses... 1:32 👈
So Odin "uses" Hela to build his empire, discards her when she starts to think and act independently, has his "perfect child", and then takes in a stray. No wonder sis is bitter. It's bad enough being ignored and forgotten, but you claim a kid who is just as "bad" ? Where's the justice??
Elrond became Red Skull, Thranduil became Ronan The Accuser, and Galadriel became Hela. That means Arwen/Betty Ross is going to become a super villain.
of all the MCU villians, she's the most logical to bring back. i mean, you already don't have to bring her back from the dead since we were never shown her "death". its beyond me why no one in Marvel even considered bringing her back.
Marvel is a joke at this point, and for the most part they wanted it to be when they leaned into cheap, cheesy, and childish forms of family friendly comedy. After they saw it work for GOTG, and knowing Iron Man worked so well with the one liners (even if they themselves knew they couldn't strike gold again like they did with Iron Man), all they had to do at that point was keep cutting corners and lowering quality in favor of quantity. Always making sure they water down certain themes and characters enough to make it easy for them to cash in on prequels, sequels, spinoffs, and etc. without having to follow much of a plot or canon of any kind.
@@Dante-vf4sd terrible i'll give a pass since taste is subjective but unbeatable? did you even watch the movie? difficult to defeat sure but NOT unbeatable. @@strangefire2024 It took a celestial power to beat her by completing obliterating the entire planet, and even then it's not certain she's dead. Thor who is supposed to have the same power source more or less was toothless against her, I can get with extra physical strength as that's part of the comic lore but her complete physical immunity to any weapon attack other than the complete destruction of the planet is utterly ridiculous when Thor is penetrated by any Asgardian level weapon. Where does this ability to produce unlimited sharp objects come from, Thor's the God of elements, he controls external elements like thunder, lightning, wind etc..., but she is the God of what exactly? She calls herself the god of death but why because she chooses to use her inexplicable ability to produce sharp objects from her actual body to murder other beings and that's the reason she's the god of death? At least her comic counterpart was actually the god of death or one of the death realms. Cate Blanchet was so beautiful, gorgeous, and hot in this movie...
Omg…she was insanely hot in this film.
And she's 48!
Cate Blanchet was so freakin' good in this role. Every damn scene she was in, she stole it.
Cate Blanchet is incredible she’s beautiful and vicious
Somehow this feels like a regular fight between brother and sister.😂"Didn't you listen to a word I just said?"
Should've used the Draupnir Spear
It's Gungnir

Thor : Sister! (expectation)
Hela : You are still alive? (reality)
This movie was only good because of Hela
this lady took a stab from Odin's staff one of the most powerful weapons in the mcu to the chest and only winced.
Dark Galadriel kicks ass!
She'd kick Saurons Arse with ease
Loki: Sweetheart, stop fighting your uncle!
Odin's words are just the Asgardian version of Earth's saying, "If you seek peace, PREPARE FOR WAR".

Cate Blanchett is a real life goddess. Who else would they cast. 😂 She is so good in this role. Bossed the whole move single handedly. He entrance into Marvel and superhero movies is awesome. Coming from Lady of Light, Queens and Villian goddess.
that line 'and your nothing' always gets me
Loved Cate as Hela. Just perfect.
I finally understand the symbolism with Hela, Thor, and Loki: the Dark Triad.
Machiavellianism (Loki), Narcissism (Thor), and Psychopathy (Hela). Two can change, one cannot.
Hela was literally redeemed in what if
I've watched this movie 4 times, and I really can't feel the tension and the danger that Asgard is in or the tension in this fight for that matter. Too many jokes and silly moments during the whole movie. I really don't get why fans love this movie and iteration of Thor so much
I agree
0:15 Mums when their teenage son comes out their room
Now I'm wondering what a match up between her and Gore the God Butcher would look like.
She would probably beat him
She had the Odin Force and over 10 thousand years plus experience waging galactic wars with Odin. She would have annihilated him.
Hahahaha Gore more like Bore. That guy was a joke if he was even meant to put up a challenge. Hela would completely shatter him in a battle! Odinforce, years experience of taking realms with Odin and she nearly wiped out all of Asgards guards. Its no contest!
We barely got to see Gorr do anything.

Odinforce doesn't exist in the MCU.
They should do a prequel of her and Odin slaughtering the nine realms.
Maybe a what if episode.
*-I Love It Blanchet And Hela😍.*
After seeing how the Scarlet Witch escaped from the mirror dimension and seeing how she was healing and regenerating instantly, quickly and effectively, I just realized that Hela also has that "Resurrection" ability. I'm not surprised, they're both goddesses... 1:32 👈
Hela would have ended Thanos, without breaking a sweat...this is why he waited until after ragnarok to claim the Tesseract
So much woman!! Love Cate
Wow, Galadriel finally put on the ring! 😂❤
Imagine if Kate Blanchet played as Camilla from Castlevania
That be 🔥
So Odin "uses" Hela to build his empire, discards her when she starts to think and act independently, has his "perfect child", and then takes in a stray. No wonder sis is bitter. It's bad enough being ignored and forgotten, but you claim a kid who is just as "bad" ? Where's the justice??
Galadriel if she had taken the One Ring.
Elrond became Red Skull, Thranduil became Ronan The Accuser, and Galadriel became Hela. That means Arwen/Betty Ross is going to become a super villain.
And that's why we don't give Galadriel the One RIng, Frodo.
Ragnarok proves the best way to solve a sibling feud is a third and worse sibling both can hate on
Even with the comedy, this movie was still epic and enjoyable. Love and thunder on the other hand was a waste
of all the MCU villians, she's the most logical to bring back. i mean, you already don't have to bring her back from the dead since we were never shown her "death". its beyond me why no one in Marvel even considered bringing her back.
Because she's a terrible unbeatable character with unexplained powers
@@Dante-vf4sd terrible i'll give a pass since taste is subjective but unbeatable? did you even watch the movie? difficult to defeat sure but NOT unbeatable. As for her powers, she shoots sharpie pointy things that unalives people and she has a nifty party trick where she can crush magic flying hammers with her bare hands.
Then somehow has the ability to crush a hammer that is way beyond any Asgardian in durability including Odin and Thor just by crushing it with her bare hands, another inexplicable "party trick" they give to Deux ex machina characters with terrible writing
@@Dante-vf4sd your complaint is totally valid. It’s just like what they did with The Marvels. Gave them all what i call “powers of convenience”. Or in Thor’s case, nerf of convenience. It’s one of those things that you really need to turn off your brain to enjoy a movie if one chooses to actually watch it. Thor Ragnarok was the second last Marvel movie I watched with Guardians 3 the last. All the others were just… if I turned off my brain any more,… let’s just say don’t go full ret@rd.
1:44 I’ve always loved the way Hela flips Thor here. Beautiful!
This is what happens when your big sister fights her little brother.
In this case its like a teen vs a toddler even if they're thousands of years old.
I do assume Drax did not interfere only because he was so confident of Thor.
I have always loved Cate's makeup here
Even this Thor 3 was awesome because of Hela. Perfect powerful underrated villain.
They just never explain powers in this. Like why do Helas powers come from Asgard? Who was her mother? Why do Thor's powers come from within him and not Asgard like Hela? I want an epilogue of the past so much! I wanna know everything 😩 Asgard had so much potential but Marvel never really wanted to delve into its world building. Loved Hela as a villain though, much more than Gorr (sorry bale).
Thor was the child of Odin and Gia, or Mother Nature of Earth. Thus his powers were supposed to be the strongest of all.

Kate was a smoke show in this movie. Real shame Taika went off the rails with L&T after getting so much right in Ragnarok.
