Andrea Pirlo is the most precise engineering technology known to man.
Something that is not shown here is Pirlo used the “spin” technique: giving the ball a particular rotation it is possible to slow or accelerate the ball speed when it touches the ground. So a back spin is useful when passing high balls to his strikers over the defense, or a top spin is useful for low freekicks. He was the absolute master for these things belonging only to the very few absolute bests.
Any good ping has backspin, because that makes it easiest for the recipient to quickly and easily control the ball.
