  • Washing Machine Making a Loud Noise? - Top 10 reasons and EASY DIY instructions to get your Washing Machine back to working order. For a full article, please visit: www.appliancepartspros.com/b/...
    Reason #1: Bad Tub Bearings: Tub bearings allow the washer shaft to rotate as the washer goes through the cycles. Bearings can fail due to age, resulting in loud sounds coming from the washer.
    Hit that Subscribe button now and make sure the Notifications are ON.
    Reason #2: Suspension Parts: These work together to keep the washer in balance. Springs, shock absorbers, and suspension rods are all included in this part package. When they fail you may hear screeching sounds from the affected part.
    Reason #3: Spider Support Arm: As the motor turns, the arm spins to agitate the clothes. Failure in this part may make the washing machine go out of balance, creating squealing sounds.
    Reason #4: Coupler: The motor coupling connects the motor to the transmission. The coupler parts work together so the motor can spin the transmission. If the coupler has failed, the dryer may not agitate or spin. It may also create grinding sounds if there is a problem with these parts as they scrape together.
    Reason #5: Drive Belt: The drive belt connects the motor pulley to the drive pulley. If it’s damaged, it will make sounds as it goes through the pulleys, which may squeal loudly.
    Reason #6: Drive Pulley: The drive pulley is opposite the washer pulley and drives the washing machine. If the drive pulley is bent or damaged, it could be wobbling as it rotates and making noise.
    Reason #7: Clutch - The clutch gradually gets the washer tub up to speed during the spin cycle. If the material wears out, you may get a loud metal on metal noise.
    Reason #8: Drain Pump - Used to remove the water from the tub during the wash and spin cycle. If the pump is making noise, it could be that the bearings or impeller have failed, and the pump needs to be replaced.
    Reason #9: Drive Motor - Converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to drive the washer. If the motor is making noise, it’s usually because the bearings in the drive motor have gone bad.
    Reason #10: Water Inlet Valve - The water inlet valve controls the hot and cold water that enters the tub. If the washer is making noise during the spin cycle, the water inlet valve could be going bad.

      It's a humming while spinning. No it's not bearings... Those are silent when it's not powered. I keep seeing Most likely it's the bearings and to check...... Blah blah.... With0 followup on if it's not the bearings

    My Frigidaire model FFTW1001TW washing machine is about 7 years old. There are two of us, so we only do a few washes a week. Occasionally, when it's not washing anything it makes noises that last for a minute or two - sounds like vibrations. I can hear this noise through the wall. When I look into the washing machine, I don't see anything moving. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

    I need help how to wash your sitting for 18 months we tried to use it it wouldn't spin out from the wash cycle but it did wash from what I understand the guy came out changed the lid sensor it wouldn't ever filled up if it that's what it was I don't think he said he ran it through a cycle for 40 minutes and it washed and spun out and everything he said try it with clothes we put in three small clothes short shorts and socks same thing it washed but it went and it goes to spin it'll drain but it won't spin he says it's bearings is about 4,500 and it's not worth fixing what if it was bearings wouldn't it make some kind of noise.? He got mad at me offered to give me my money back said he was washing his hands of this he don't have anything to do with it just cuz I asked a question he got all blown up. What do I do so this doesn't happen again I think it's fixable it's not making any bad noises it's not rumbling out of balance it's just not doing the spin cycle but it does the wash cycle from what I understand and it drains then the flashing light I can't find my manual and I can't get out there physically to look up the model number and some whirlpool and they're good ones maybe 3 years old 4 years old only been used about a year

    My top washer (Kenmore series 100) won’t let us press the on button / start a cycle and it makes noise as soon as it’s plugged in (but doesn’t fill with water, no parts are moving, and it doesn’t stop making noise if you open the top either 😭).

    • @appliancepartspros
      @appliancepartspros  Před 9 měsíci +1

      What is the model number of your washer? What kind of noise is it making?

    • @TaylorClaman
      @TaylorClaman Před 8 měsíci

      Not sure what model it is (the top says kenmore series 100), but it makes a load humming noise as if it’s starting a load, but the start button won’t work and there’s nothing in the wash. It only stops if we unplug it, but it starts as soon as we plug it in. Also, we think we saw a little water below the tub when we took the back panel off. The drain out of the washer wasn’t clogged, the belt was still on, but we couldn’t really see much else outside of that.
