- In this video, I show you and tell you how to align trumpet valves properly. If you want to get those trumpet valves back in place properly, or solve the problem of your trumpet not allowing any air through, then this is the video for you. I go over a simple process that will pretty much guarantee that those trumpet valves will be in place properly, and it is easy to remember how to do it once you have done it a few times.

Thanks! I grew up with a King Flugabone, which has a notch on each valve that only allows for the correct orientation... then decided to pick up the trumpet last year, found a used Bach, and was mystified that there seemed to be no reliable way to lock-in the correct orientation... but apparently there is! Looking forward to trying this.
Great vid! Straight to the point and pleasant. Thank you.
this was an amazing trick thank you for the video
GREAT!!!
Thanks for the video.
All the valves in a trumpet look alike, so what difference would it make to place, for example, #1 in the #3 casing and vice versa?
Some trumpets have numbering for the valves, itll say S1, S2, and S3.
@@ruffruffrebel Yes, you’re correct and thanks for mentioning that.
However, my question basically was, “Since all three valves look the same, why aren’t they interchangeable?”
How can you do the third valve?
THIS DEFENITELY DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL TRUMPETS
The vocal was hard to listen to. Sorry.
Is this how you normally speak? This topic is supposed to be how to do a valve alignment aka Bob Reeves etc. I click it and it's beginner stuff on how to put your valves in. Dumb
