Triumph have given the Tiger 900 and makeover for 2024 with a headline engine boost. There are also some nice other mods. All the changes in 90 seconds.
If I can get a test ride on the F900 GS yes. I want to try that and the 1300. The F900 is all super new, it's got to be superb but the Triumph Tiger 900 has kind of been that bike they got right from the off and have nicely incremented the power and looks, no doubt with the impending release of the BMW.
@@terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuff Some diseased bit of my brain wants to "upgrade" for some reason, but I ended up skipping a BMW Demo ride just because I wanted to keep riding my Tiger around. Living with that awful tft screen does have a benefit, means I'll have to learn to listen to the bike and remember my gears like I'm supposed to 😅 Edit: Also really appreciate your video on the suspension, now I gotta learn more about how the front end works
@@Kevin-nh7jd Well that afflicts us all, the grass is always greener Kevin 🙂. The upshot is you are on a brilliant bike so that's the positive and try and forget about that TFT. I can tell you that the BMW TFT's always look a complete mess in rainy/wet environments, they water stain really badly. The journalists always show them in their best light on some sunny island.
There's a change missing - reduction in leg heat. I live in a hot place and travel through other hot places and the heat blast off that engine is a deal breaker for me.
yes its a very nice bike,on top the of list in the category.but expensive too.and i m not gonna pay so much money and cant drive it in the summer.they should have solved this problem with the 2024 update
What about riding mode changes- can you change into offroad modes on the fly now? had the 1200 RallyPro and having to stop and change all the time was a nusiance
The reason why the 1200 didn't let you do it was because the off road mode also dumps rear preload and lowers the rear end in an attempt to rake the bike out. That is a geometry change and maybe Triumph took the view that they will err on the side of caution? Having said that I still believe you have to stop on the new 900's too. But they also want you to adjust your suspension for off road on the Tiger 900 by adding the front preload to max and making damping changes. These are worth doing if going off road for any period of time I would think?
I wish that Triumph would make the new TFT display available as an upgrade on the previous Tiger 900's.

800 is a fine bike with a great reputation. You get to keep the "Turbine Triple".
