Hi! in looking at getting a triumph 800 xcx. I'm planning of lowering it like you have done. Do both your feet touch the ground without an issue like having to lean over to have your foot flat on the ground?

Great vid, and I did a similar thing. I’m a 5’5” female and bought a Suzuki V-Strom with a 33” seat height. I cut the seat down myself, and ordered boots with high heels AND thicker soles all the way along the boot sole. That worked!

I I am so grateful that I watched your video. I too am short. So when your title said am I too short for the tiger of course I clicked on it. I am 5 foot three and owned the tiger 800 low version which was great. I wanted the standard height version because I like to ride canyons at a nice crisp pace. I can tiptoe with the stock seat in the low position. I Purchased the low seat as well. But when I installed it on my bike it was the same height as the stock seat in the low position. Now here’s where it gets good. Watching your video I learned that my low seat has an adjustment that lowers it another 20 mm. I can’t wait to try it out. Thank you so much for your video. I own the 2020 tiger GT pro and I have 2600 miles on it so far. I love this bike. Enjoy your new bike!

I am just 5'6" and most of those 830mm height bikes were tall to and I would be tip toeing but this 810mm seat height would be manageable for short guys like me I think. If the bring the 790mm seat height option in India it would be a great selling factor for Triumph.

I am 5'7" (173cm), I purchased a 2023 Tiger GT Low right after one test drive. The day I was in a triumph dealership for my moto guzzi service. I was ready to buy a BMW R18 for huge discount but that was a Saturday BMW was closed. I saw this, I sat on it, it was so nice to have a low seat version of Tiger! Before no GS, No Tiger, low rider height (LRH) gives all of short men to enjoy ADV chance. After one test drive, I traded my moto guzzi and become a new ADV touring biker.
Thanks Rider little, you even can ride a GT normal version with low seat, good to know. Low GT has little different geometry from normal GT, which means shorter forks and rear suspension, a little shorter total length as well, giving the low rider version more road capacity and less off road drama. But, like suv car, who really did off-road? Need a comfy, fast, wind proof, heated handlebar, nice screen, and safe ride.
Today pick the bike, very happy. only modification is remove the hand guards due to width restriction! I have to drive this bike into the office foyer, the door just too narrow allowing handguards....sad.

Sir, I am 5'3 and I am very keen to change my Avenger 220 to something like the RE or Jawa. My height was a big bother for me. Though I have rode the bullet of 1980s after so many years with Bajaj Boxer and Avenger, I needed something to give me confidence to make a decision. Thanks a lot to you for making this video.
    Best regards

Brilliant!! Ajit bro, re-enforce my decision to buy an Adv Tourer. At 5'8" I was hesitant. Now to decide between the Tiger 1200 or the Ducati Multistrada V4S. Thank you 😊 again.
