You can add coal to the jetpack and armor by holding the armor in your off hand and coal in your main hand. Then press Q. Like you would to drop an item on the ground. But the jetpack will suck up the item instead.
To be exact, you need to hold the item you want to fuel in the off hand and throw the fuel, it doesn't need to be in the hotbar, thus you can fuel it with a lot of stacks from your inventory by throwing the entire stacks (ctrl+throw button) directly from the inventory.
That's what I tried to do in the first place :bigbrain: lol all the experience with all these old ahh tech mods finally paid off

I feel the same playing without the elytra is less convenient but it is more enjoyable actually using other features.
I have mixed feelings about the elydra only the gliding alone is completely ok but the rocket boost is a bit too op
@@TheLtVoss yeah the problem for me is that the elytra is the best way to play the game the most optimal. But it's not the most fun way cause it removes gampley features you never interact with the terrain after getting the elytra which makes the game more mundane and boring cause that's a big part of the game.
i love this mods than add form of controlled flying because i hate the elytra, i can't controlled and ended up dying for crash things

I figured it out, THE SOLUTION TO THE ELYTRA PROBLEM; whenever you build an elevator, add anti aircraft cannons to the top of the tower so if they dont take it up they fucking di-

Gotta say i think the most fun I've ever had in Minecraft was when I took the jetpack from this mod and a grappling from a mod i don't remember and just going around like I'm in attack on titan then subsequently slamming into the side of a house and dying
TBH, I'm not fully knowledgeable about this expansion mod, so I assumed the slime helmet was meant to soften blows from crashing into things when flying with the elytra.
Sticking to the ceiling like a steampunk spider-man works too!

By the time I saw this video, id been playing create for ages with stuff & additions added, and when I saw the drone in this video, I thought "FINALLY someone feels my pain"

i 100% agree with your take on the elytra, whats the point of riding a train when you can fly across the same distance without effort. it really kills it.

Yaaays! I finally found another person who recognised how Elytra kills all fun. Thank you! That's what I always tell my friends: it makes all infrastructure obsolete, and the world becomes frankly boring.
But how? It's not like the Elytra makes it so you just can't use anything else ever again. It's also an end game item. Like literally I fail to see how it ruins fun when it's just convenience and is in of itself a reward for completing the game. You're only ruining it for yourself if you decide to just speedrun the game to get it.
@@hysterical5408 The issue is that the 'endgame' for Minecraft is stupidly easy to get to. Yeah you can choose to just not use it, but that seems kinda dumb, no? Having to purposely not use a item because the item is literally doing its job too well.
@@SameedChowdhury no. Its a completely valid choice to just not use it. Its still an end game item, if you want to speed run the game and spoil the experience for yourself then be my guest. That's not the item's fault

I like Elytra its an endgame thing and if your like me and build modpacks that have the Project MMO mod even if someone has an Elytra they wouldn't be able to use it until they earn the ability to do so through the PMMO skills.
Yeah but if u play more vanilla minecraft it's to easy to get and like then you just fly everywhere. Having a mc server without it makes it more enjoyable.

@@hysterical5408 the elytra isn't the only one to blame but. When you don't interact with the terrain it removes a part of the game and makes it more of the same all the time.

I would say the drone feature is good cause it can pickup blocks as well as mobs and mining is not that good but still give 8/10

U can take the wrench and R-Click the deployer and then put the flamethrower in the deployer (It has to have a block,entity in front it)

Is there a way to change the jetpack fly limit. Ive searched but couldn't find it in the configs. Only being allowed to fly 20 blocks high isn't gonna cut it in my create survival world. Keep up the great work.

idk about this jetpack thing, slime slingshot is probly better still paired with the feather that lets you loose hunger instead of health

there is another create jetpack mod that is fueled like the copper backtank and has a hover mode
I must say your version of Stuff and Additions is cooler than mine.
But the 0.5 train wheels don't look all that good in certain builds!

Cause it's so much better to lug around 3 items to fly in a less efficient way. Nah, I rather the Elytra; only down side is it being restricted to an end game item.
