Great video Julie, many points that were relevant to my cancer experience in 2019.

A friendly reminder that specialist physiotherapists need to be integrated into the multidisciplinary team when managing head and neck cancer patients. Our input is vital in reducing neck and shoulder problems and swelling (lymphoedema), which are all common side effects of head and neck cancer treatment. Specialist physiotherapists also help patients regain strength after treatment by prescribing targeted exercises.
Please don't forget to mention physiotherapy when talking about the multidisciplinary management of head and neck cancer patients. Thank you!!!!! :-)

Thanks a lot for raising this as I'm pretty 'new' caring for patients with Head and Neck cancer. I shall integrate physiotherapists into my referrals to the wider MDT.
