Much respect to you for making the video - having been there it's bizarre seeing it from those angles but I still remember it 8+ years later & fingers crossed I will for another 40-50 years yet!

Thank you for your comment, Allan. We hope it will demystify what the experience is like for other people who may be waiting for their treatment, and make it a little less scary. Sending our best wishes. Bernard

Thank you for this. I will be going through rads in Oct/Nov after I've had surgery for my oral cancer. This film has eased my mind and is very informative.

This is a great resource for patients. I am sure many patients and their families will find this useful. I am a radiotherapy student and I often find that patients are overwhelmed about starting radiotherapy and it is usually due to the fear of the unknown . However this video could potentially reduce patient anxiety before radiotherapy .

All well and good,BUT and heres the But ,SIDE AFFECTS . True you don't feel pain on the machine, But just wait for the side affects too kick in. Mine are similar to having a kettle of boiling water poured into the mouth and down the throat. It's so bad im thinking of stopping treatment, I've had 20 sessions but still have 15 more to go.
