I first heard this masterpiece 18-19 years old on a Swedish public radio show called “P3 Soul” and I was hooked AF! This was way back in the days long before Shazam, so I went to every record store in town trying to dig for the album, even tried to hum and rap the lyrics for the staff laughing like hell. One dude lead me to Buju Banton and that was it. It took me 12 years to finally find out the tune was someway related the an east coast crew called Boot Camp Clik, and then finally found Smif n Wessun.
Shoutout to Mats Nileskar at P3 (when the damn Swedish radio still got the vibe)
One of the most underrated tracks in hiphop history!!! This joint brings back so many memories!! Mid 90s!
Only thing ...the video so dark.....i know it's night but.....damn😧

Classic album!
@@Rascool69 nah they disrespected this absolute masterpiece by giving it only 3 mics smh, this is one of the reasons why i don't care about their ratings.
Classic i just watched that joint last week and i got the album on itunes grew up 2 these brothas, bootcamp click and Wu was the grittiest sound in NY those days
I'm from Brownsville but was livin in harlem at the time and I was in the right place at the right time! When I seen the camp was doing a video shoot in harlem I was mad hype! I'm a BCC fan till this day, I had to get up in that video! I was 16 then and now I'm 42!

Was very pleasantly surprised by the bit at the end. Salute.
Legends.
One of the sickest tracks. Tons n tons of verses, amazing.
Chiefin in the car while it was raining heavy, high as fuck listening to Dah Shinin' or OGC's Da Storm. Maaaan that was whats up. I miss being that irresponsible knuckle-headed kid sometimes, this is one of those times. Glad I found this channel.
Sound bwoy you don't have to worry.....😂
ONE OF THE DOPEST CLASSIC CUTS EVER.

Love Healtah Skeltah but they dropped the Ball big time on not keeping that record. Even without the regge chorus & the extra sounds that Steele put in the Beat is still Crack!!!! I met Steele a few yrs ago by the Big clock (hanson pl) Downtown Bklyn. Told him I appreciate Smif n wesson/ Boot camps contribution to HipHop. The god Steele was hella cool.
David Holley damn u luck bro i met Tek on 125th street subway nigga was hella cool
The whole clik is chill asf! I met Buckshot 6 years ago! One of the coolest and most humble dudes I ever met! BCC, DUCK DOWN!! 💪🔥🔥

Hip Hop on Another Level
I love them
2:41 so much proud on these guys
big salute to gen steele and the nigga tek!!
The beat is simple but tek n steele adding the dark atmospherics is what really made the track stand out imo. Plus the yard speak just made it that much doper.
bro i'm 26 and i found this music this year. Same feeling of finding 100 dollars on the street
Now I like the video even more.
sigue siendo un tema muy brutal al dia de hoy
the Jamaican intro to this song was from a reggae song by Greggory Isaacs if I remember correctly. anyone know the song's name? I forgot the name to the reggae song.
Brilliant

Ok, it’s like this. Beatminerz Mr Walt & Evil Dee were killing it on the production end with the first Black Moon & Smif N Wessun albums but somehow they’re beats didn’t go as hard or have that same touch your soul feel from that point on. Just my opinion. Any thoughts?
So Steele put that wind shit in there, huh? That shit is fucking crazy! Gives it that Western quick-draw vibe, but hood.
Shit raised me booooooi!!!!!!
What's up

BUCKTOWN MASSIVE‼️🇯🇲🗽
Loved SnW back in the 90's. At the time I didnt realise about the homophobic 'boom bye bye' lyrics. it's a shame on reggae & jamaican culture. Sort it out.
