Vader's son is quite a handsome chap, never saw that coming.
And David Flair getting his ass whupped at the training facility by Taker is still a much appreciated contribution to the industry.
Matt Hydra You'd question if he was legitimate
Well Simon kinda made it and his dad is Goldberg
His dad is GILLBERG
I didn't know the Miz was Vader's son.
😂😂😂😂
I gotta give Simon his props here. Very well researched list and "Most of the Harts" made me laugh out loud
1:17 “NWO World Heavyweight Champion”
THERE IT IS BOYS
I thought it said nWo too
Personally I think we shouldn't compare second-generation wrestlers to their parents. Because all it does it set impossible standards that they just can't reach. Like they aren't their parents, they're totally different people who probably wrestle differently.
But that's just my two cents. *shrug*
It kinda comes naturally. When your dad is a well known legend at some profession, and you try to do the same job, the comparison to your father will be very hard not to do.
Yeah. It's kind of a shame though.
It sucks when the 1st gen was a super legend in the biz - I think it puts a ton of pressure and a lot of them end up failing due to extremely high expectations.
I couldn't have put it better myself.
Absolutely. Look no further than Curtis Axel. When your dad is Mr Perfect of all people, that's not gonna help your case.
lol he said nwo champion not nwa
I was looking for someone to comment this😂
N-N-N-NEW WORLD ORDER
Just making sure it wasn’t just me!
Caught that 2.
i heard that as well
How about 10 second-generation wrestlers who fared better than their fathers?
izzy breezey
Would be a cool list. Maybe not father, specifically, cause that would omit guys like Rey Mysterio who inherited his identity from his uncle.
10. Natalya Neidhart
9. Curt Hennig
8. Bray Wyatt
7. Roman Reigns
6. Eddie Guerrerro
5. Bret Hart
4. Rey Mysterio
3. Randy Orton
2. The Rock
1. Vincent Kennedy McMahon!
Ranked by how much better than their predecessor they are.
DoctorLazers The Rock and Orton are third generation.
TheCharlesJackson I was focusing on whether or not they surpassed their parent.
Brian Scrivner I dunno, Natalya has had a lot of longevity, classic matches and title belts. I believe she is just as, if not more successful than her father.
I was comparing Vince and Vince Sr on overall success and business impact than specifically in-ring stuff.
ItsStillRealToMe DamnIt Didn't even think of Macho Man and Jake The Snake. They're so good that they transcend any dynasties they may be a part of.
I'm surprised Shawn Stasiak wasn't on the list.
I bet Vader's son is on this list
Darren Bradford
Yep
He was a good looking gal
They're not big and sweaty enough to be a WWE superstar.
Vince McMahon L
W
Vince McMahon ha ha ha ha *Vince McMahon voice*
Vince McMahon Is That The Real Muscle-Loving Maniac
You Are! You are! 8:02
Aj's old tna theme song.
I am! I am!
YOU ARE, YOU ARE!
The BiG CAM I am! I am! (Man these lyrics are shit, but it sounds so good on the actual song)
TF2Charmander that's the funny part
#ThankYouNeville
10 WhatCulture Narrators Who Never Made It
Number 1: Simon
Number 2: Andrew
Griffin Reviews w
Ben. He's never on these lists. I love Ben.
MrArnoldDoesStuff That's really #1
Cultaholics where you at
safwan khan Why does everybody love Cults?
safwan khan not here 😂😂😂
"NOV 1. JOIN US"
yes please daddy
safwan khan Right here reporting for duty! Cannot wait til Nov. 1st!
eww
They really should've done more with the likes of Harry Smith, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas
Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas are 3rd-generation wrestlers.
Pendulum Panda I know but they should've still been treated better
Suddenly , I find Simon so entertaining.
What a vote of confidence from your dad. Doesn't let his son use the family last name because he's afraid the son will disgrace it.
Yea pretty much ruined his chances from the start..
Simons carrying what culture wrestling at the moment
GUYS THE 5 LADS MADE THEIR OWN CHANNEL
David Flair was a national treasure.
Holy shit, didn't expect to see Leland on this list. He wrestles at the promotion an hour away from me. He's actually a pretty good wrestler.
List isn't who was bad, just who didn't have success compared to their Father.
Videos are getting better... keep up the good work
Simon is the only reason I still watch at all
When the other half of the roster leaves so you gotta hold up this channel on your large biceps by yourself
Why am I up at 10:42AM?
10 Greatest wrestlers who never won a world championship
Do 2nd generation wrestlers who actually made it
Randy Savage, Lanny Poffo, Randy Orton, The Rock, but yeah just Cody.
"Most of the Harts" Truthful and Savage!
Simon you're the best keep the hard work
Another Top 10 list by WhatCulture...didn’t see this coming
Why isn’t Curtis Axel On the list
Riyaad Ali Curtis Axel is actually a third Generation wrestler his grandfather if I remember right was a part time Wrestler and promoter Called Larry Henning. Ted Jr is an other third Generation.
He's not 2nd generation he's 3rd generation
First, he is a 3rd generation wrestler. And second, he is a damn good wrestler, that just happens to be bland and has a boring personality (and that's why WWE has him as cannon fodder for Miz)
Nat Wrestlemanic
It's HENNIG NOT HENNING
prowrestling.wikia.com/wiki/Larry_Hennig
What about Erik Watts? Worst... dropkick... EVER!!
I KNOW!!!!!!
erik watts LOL!!!
I was fan of Erik Watts as the DOA of TNA around 2004. In ring, not so much.
Simon you are awesome. I do miss the other guys, but you are awesome and your doing great.
John Jewells They just created another channel called cultaholic
1:31.. omg i swear, this Leland guy looks like Sheamus and Cesaro combined together.
We, people from Poland are proud of both Ivan and Scott! Polish Hammers, Polish Power, Polish Kielbasa!
What about Richie steamboat? He was a part of FCW and early NXT, believe he racked up a tag title or 2 then suffered a major back injury and hasn’t been seen since
There's also Shawn Stasiak, who never recovered from being handed the Meat gimmick.
im glad we still have simon here
TEDDY HART IS A LEGEND
Example of me speaking with my friend, Steven:
Me (or anyone else): David Flair--
Steve: *Growls*
i'm starting to love repoman
I love your love for the repo man
We all know Simon is right now working overtime
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat's son Richie, who never got past WWE's developmental stage and who's only Wrestlemania appearance was as a baby when his father carried him out to the ring at WM 4...
Can you imagine being The Undertaker's kid, joining the industry and then having to fill those huge shoes that your Dad occupied?
No but you couldn't do it so it don't matter
ok nothing to do with the video but that mario odyssey advert is amazing
i'll give a thumbs up just because I like the narrator
10. Manu 9. Erick Watts 8. Scott Putski 7. David Flair 6. David Sanmatiro 5. Richie Steamboat 4. Jesse White 3. Leland Race 2. Sim Snuka 1. Wes Brisco
Wow @ Bruno having heat with his own son for looking up to him and trying to follow his footsteps and becoming a pro wrestler. Gee
saw Leland at my local indy promotion guys a solid worker
That moment when you realize you played football in High School with Repo Man's son. I've known Dakota for years.
I remember this video... when Brian Zane did it last year.
I miss the boys! What Culture isn't the same
guys, how can we forget the most important comparison? Simon is living in the shadow of his father Bill Goldberg
Didn't you already do a list that was very similar to this?
That's not Ivan Putski at the hall of fame, that's George 'The Animal' Steele.
Why do I feel like this list was already done?
George Gulas would be a big fit for this list as he was not only bad at wrestling, but he was really abrasive to the boys because he was Nick Gulas' kid. One such story had Dutch Mantell smearing his armpit with crap and shoving it in George's face when he had him in a headlock. Yeah, he'd fit the bill quite nicely.
Have you done a "greatest factions that failed cos all promotions have no idea how to do it" video????
10 2nd gen wrestlers who outshined their parents
I thought Ethan Suplee was Vader's son :/
1:17 I never knew Harley Race was the NWO World Champion! That's nuts.
Could've sworn you guys did this list already or one very similar to it.
It's Simon o clock mother f*****. HE said NWO instead or NWA @ 1:17. ( All love and fun , I like Simon.)
Your list is quite accurate, save for one thing. When you mention "Most of the Harts", did it ever occur to you that perhaps not all of the Harts were interested in going international? Specifically, Bruce and Keith Hart worked for Stampede wrestling for a great many years, and were pretty well known across Canada. However, Keith's chosen profession was a fire fighter, and Bruce's was a schoolteacher. Unless you have interviewed both Keith and Bruce, and they have told you specifically that they wished they could have gone world wide in their careers, your opinion is a little non-sequitur on this one.
But what about ritchie steamboat
Richie, not Ritchie. He didn't really fail either. His career was cut short due to injury
When i went here it had 666 views.
COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!
3:45 Simon made the Undertaker look like a joke
Try watching Wes Briscoe with Paragon Pro Wrestling.
you telling me vader's son really wasnt frankie from boy meets world?
I was thinking about this very thing recently. It doesn't seem to be a guarantee of success anymore like it used to be. I mean--for every Randy Orton, there's an Erik Watts. For every Kevin Von Erich, there's a Brian Pillman Junior. For every Eddie Gilbert, there's a Curtis Axel. Having your father's good name just doesn't seem to cut it anymore--it can still make you a "punching bag" in squash matches.
It's still weird to me that wrestlers I watched as a kid have kids that are wrestlers.
Let’s face it, they’re only forcing Simon to do so many videos to reduce the dislikes 😂
Do one on 2/3rd gen Wrestlers who did better or equal as well as their parent(s)
Guess you could call this the 2nd generation of whatculture
I kinda miss Eric Bischoff's son. He was a good narrator.
He is NOT a second generation wrestler
In order to be considered a second generation wrestler YOUR DAD HAD TO BE AN ACTUAL WRESTLER, NOT A FUCKING PROMOTER
0:41 That's George Steele. Come on, Simon.
Great now do 2 10th generation Superstars who never made it
Bruno Sammartino kinda looks like a great white shark.
last time i was this early plumpy did top 10s
Cultaholics we coming for you
Are those Briscos related to the Brisco brothers in roh
I'm sure this video has been made by whatculture before?
You should've included Richi Steamboat
simon, you said NWO world championship instead of NWA world championship
Great I'm living in England while there's a hurricane
I totally don't remember Manu being part of Legacy
If they made David Flair a mega heel who gets beats up most of the match, but finds a way to always get the win.
November 1st Whatcultre... November 1st...
Nice commercial at the end tho
I AM
THE TABLE?
*riff*
I am I am I am I am I am I am...
Going to watch the new Cultaholic video.
Most people probably didn't like or care for David Flair on a personal sense but you can hate & bash him all you want. But there is no denying that he is a former WCW United States Heavyweight Champion & a former WCW World Tag Team Champion before he disappeared from the pro-wrestling scene.
No mention of Erik Watts? I'm shocked...
Simon, you're the man!
Jonas nice profile picture
Next, 10 Third-Generation Wrestlers Who Never Made It
Wait, I thought Frankie Stecchino from Boy Meets World was Vader's son?
Simon did you really just say that Harley Race was an NWO world champion? lol
Who knew, that looking good would be a disadvantage in entertainment. Vader's son is very ubfortunate.
