Modi's subservient visit to Putin, shows that India is not willing to break it's reliance on a imperialist and colonialist power, Russia. Rather than India raising it's head as champion of democracy, freedom from colonialism and India as a mature nation, Modi's support for colonial Russia makes India a lackey of corruption in the eyes of the world.
Ripping off the Russians over oil is great, funding Russian's second rate military industrial complex is, second rate.
India should stand tall as a leading democratic Western nation with a lot to gain and offer. Modi is better than the socialist competition, but it is distasteful to see India trying to gain from the suffering of the Ukrainian people.

s400 is regularly defeated in Ukraine by Western technology. Why would India want such an expensive and second rate system?
