    These videos are so helpful. I’m struggling though with trying to set up my nameplates. I looked at your last video… but it didn’t go in depth like I was hoping. Is there anyway we can connect and you can possibly walk me through it. It would help me out soooo much

    When I display my audience screen on the screen the display is small in the bottom left corner and it shows the background not just the audience display. How do I make it full screen so that none of the background shows and just the display projected?

      The first thing I would check is your screens output in PP7. Go to screens / configure screens and then select the output you are having a problem with. In the bottom right, make sure that Output target is set to full.

      So it sounds like your computer is set to mirror your display. You need to change the computer settings to use the external TV as an extended monitor. Once you do that, then you can send your main audience within propresenter to the TVs and have the regular propresenter screen on the computer.

    HI we are one month new to PP7 and trying to connect our screens. We have a main LED in the center which will display motion graphics only, 2 TV monitors one on each side of the LED which will have the same motion graphic along with the lyrics and scriptures and finally the stage screen. I am at a lost for getting these setup. Also do I need a special device to split all these screens. All of my ports are being used minus one remaining C drive. We are using a gaming windows. 10 or 11 pc

    • @JonathanHeadley
      @JonathanHeadley  Před 3 měsíci

      Hi! Thanks for the question. So first your question about the device to split the screens. I am not sure since I don't know the specs on your PC. Check the specs and see how many output screens it allows. You will need 4 for the scenario you just described. One for each of those monitors and one for the main display monitor at your desk. If your computer doesn't support that many, I recommend this pluggable unit. www.amazon.com/Plugable-Universal-Laptop-Docking-Station-Usb-C-Triple-Monitor/dp/B0779K9DG2/ref=sr_1_4?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.Pu3mL2Lq_uISw_BYW7tEOAY4LPkEFvUkRJIzMgBj5W0_8mC4Dp8KOarHpFo_VNrn3Gj5HVJE3Kedd0UMCN8HZWc6yW2qiB8A5HwYeTVb2R2j5_qU3CjYc0Jj2xXUA-Nz_Vzk6B5VoRonz5Qa9GMX6EOCyw9JXslR-3DFKyvzeXIEUbDzjPWnGuQdwvHz6OWxigLvtdiSSw2hn6DNZR1QLYRwUvxpQw-owJRulQUxHVY.jn_aKdn3Hnjayr_8yRDAWwnw2VMN5XBhokfx11mgxqQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=pluggable&qid=1712232580&sr=8-4
      As for directly setting it up, the short version is you'll work with 3 windows for setup. First, create each monitor output in Screens -> Configure Screens.
      Second, setup what goes to each screen in Screens -> Edit Looks. This window can be complex to know what to turn off and on to get the desired effects. Your LED wall you will want to uncheck slide but leave media. For your side screen, leave everything checked.
      If you need further help, please hit me up at L55techconsulting@gmail.com and I'd be glad to assist.

    If I have a big led screen in the middle, Two vertical long led screens 2ft wide x 10ft Height to the right and 2 of the same to the left of the stage if I wanted to display something on each screen do I have to wire each individually so that would be 5 sdi cables running from my computer/pro presenters? • @JonathanHeadley
      @JonathanHeadley  Před 4 měsíci

      Thanks for the question. While I believe this would be doable, it might be too much for ProPresenter to handle consistently. I am assuming there are video signals for imag as well. I think in this type of scenario, it would be better to do this from a video switcher and let propresenter just handle the graphics. Propresenter 7 can do a lot but once you start doing too much, it can get glitchy and inconsistent. Shoot me an email l55techconsulting@gmail.com and we can discuss further.

    Cool. I've just set-up my propresenter 7 in church for stage and audience display. The problem I'm facing is that my own monitor display has been affected. It's no longer full display and the propresenter app is cut off on the left and right of the my monitor. Any idea on how I can fix that? I don't know if it's a propresenter issue or a system issue.

    • @JonathanHeadley
      @JonathanHeadley  Před 22 dny +1

      That sounds like a system issue. Every now and then when you add new monitors, your computer will change the resolution of your main screen. You need to go into the display settings of the computer, find the main display and set it back to default resolution. That would be my suggestion whether you are on a Mac or a PC. Hope that helps.

      What kind of computer are you using? I have a newer MacBook Pro 16 so I am able to run each screen off a separate usbc on the computer itself. But I would recommend getting a matrox unit. A dualheadtogo or a tripleheadtogo depending on your needs. They work great at being able to split one output to multiple. Only a little testy to set up, but once it’s running it works great.

    Man, I have an issue. Total noob, and our go-to guy is away…
    Somehow we got our slide presentation (normally set to audience on the projector screen) showing up in a wonky way right on the desktop screen. It shows up full screen, and in that mode, it also shows up on the projector screen. It obviously stops us from doing anything in Propresenter (like advancing slides) until we close the window, which, when we do, cuts the feed to the projector as well. When that happens, the projector is basically projecting the laptop wallpaper. I haven’t found a tutorial yet that guides me out of that mess.

      Hi Gladys. You may need to check with Matrox and make sure the software is compatible with Big Sur. I have not used our Matrox unit since updating to Big Sur because I have enough working outputs on the laptop I have. On a quick search, Big Sur may not be compatible which they need to hurry up and do. Especially since Apple just released Monterey. They need to catch up. • @JonathanHeadley
      @JonathanHeadley  Před 3 lety

      Yes. I am using a 16” MacBook Pro. We started with an older MacBook Pro that only allowed 2 monitors. To fix that I bought a Matrox Dual Head To Go. This basically sends one output out of your computer but creates a double wide screen that you are able to split in half within propresenter to send different options to each half. The box itself then has 2 outputs on it that correspond to each half of the screen. They also make a triple. There are other external gpu options as well that work similarly, but tend to be more expensive.
