Never heard of overland but somehow I managed to find one in a good price hours after watching this video, it's the older 100BJ model with full numeric and basic stainless steel case. Overland is amazing, the solar dial give it a subtle sunburst effect when most field watches are flat.. I'm glad this video was randomly suggested and I clicked on it
There's quite a few watches I wouldn't have bought if I would have bought my Casios beforehand. They get the job done and look even better on a good band. I like the more expensive tool watches like anybody else, but sometimes you can't go wrong with the less expensive option. They're just fun and a less stressful side of owning/collecting watches. I got an realy similar to that overland full analog to and its a pain in the😂 to set it! Thank got the app on iOS still works and yes its a gordgeus watch 39 mm super confy light i love it…
I like the Diver one better, the MDV-102, I bought one years ago but it's still in the original box as I didn't want to risk scratches or normal use wear, I guess that's kind of silly of me lol
I noticed on the MDV102 when you illuminated it, the second hand stopped ticking, mine is doing that. Could that be just a weak battery? Or a more serious problem.
Most likely a weakened battery issue. It’s a pretty big drain to run the light. The solar powered overland has an automatic light function when you flick your wrist - but it only works when the battery is fully charged.
The 20mm green one is Citizen Promaster branded - it came with another JDM Citizen that I sold a while ago. Occasionally, they pop up on eBay/yahoo japan. The black one is a 22mm Morellato fabric strap that I got from eBay.
That Overland model is amazing, like Casio's version of the Citizen Super Tough

According to the manual, the battery should last about 3 years with 3 seconds(!!) of daily led light use.
