Swedish photographer Lennart Nilsson spent 12 years of his life taking pictures of the fetus Developing in the womb. These incredible photographs were taken with conventional cameras with macro lenses, an endoscope and scanning electron microscope. Nilsson used a magnification of hundreds of thousands and “worked” right in the womb. His first photo of the human fetus was taken in 1965.

Hey, me too! 26 weeks 1lb 10oz, 36 years ago. I was left to die on a surgical tray, still alive as a nurse passed by and saw me fighting for life. She scooped me up and wrapped me in cellophane, called a different ON/GYN and asked if he wanted to save me. He did. Thankfully my mother was still under and didn't have to go through the heartache and excruciating pain of being awake to hear the news, as I was already eing saved when she came to. When she qent yo yhr hospital they dismissed her saying she's in labor, but finally they agreed, but told her, "Mrs. Cateatfood, you're not having a baby, you're having a miscarriage." Then put her under.
I have 3 babies of my own, no problems from a lack of oxygen or anything despite all "the experts" telling my mother thr horrors she's going to have to face with me in her life- r3t4rdation, never walk, talk, hearing and seeing impaired etc. Nope.
Sadly, im still not enough for my husband 🤣😭💔 But that's ok, as I'm turning my focus back onto Jesus and won't be fighting for my husband any longer; not putting Jesus on thr back burner for a man who so easily hurts, lies, cheats, controls, manipulates, neglects family, pour my all into him only to be disappointed and turned into a crazy, bitter, angry bish. I just wish I had known he "foesn't have the same morals as me", and the type of person he truly is and has hid behind a mask, stealing the identity of his sister's ex bf, before deciding to make a life and babies with him.

If we could pick and choose and know everything before we chose to remember it it would be great. Say if your about to hear a heated argument between your parents. You might choose to opt out of that. Now that your an adult, you know what it's like, and it's not a good memory to have from when your mom was pregnant with you. If there is another memory where your mom got a promotion or won an award you'd want to remember that as it's joy and a celebration. So you'd remember it and you'd feel the joy for her.

I used to love these photos, until I learned that they were taken after miscarriages and abortions. All of these children were already dead. This was the only way at the time that he could get visual images of fetal development in the womb. This is how scientists learn, through studying the deceased. These images are both beautiful and heart breaking.

It's a endoscopy where they put a tube down your throat. I'm just not sure how they do it without putting the woman under. I just had one done yesterday for my pancreas and liver, they did a biopsy while in there. It took 20 mins and I feel fine. Crazy what they can do.

I think that this is extremely relevant re deciding about abortion. Between 10 and 16 weeks, there’s no denying the humanity of the fetus. 2:10 and to me, this means that if you missed the 2nd period, the time to decide has just about run out. Women (and men) need to make better choices, don’t give in to the pressure and consider alternatives. 💎💯

reminds me of a story my mom told me, when my mom was in the hospital she saw my heart rate going down on the tv and asked for the nurses, the nurses came in like 30 seconds after she was calling then when they came in the room my mom had told them my heat rate was going down, and the nurses seemed like they didnt even care. soon they did a C-Section and saw that my umbilical cord had been around my neck. im glad my mom had kept watching my heart rate or otherwise i probably wouldnt be here.

I'm always blown away when I compare the ultrasound pics of when I was 10 weeks prego, to the 24 weeks prego. It's a huge difference and it's still mind blowing that at my age and with the kind of health problems I have that I got pregnant. My chances were 0%to 1% and without any help from docs I got pregnant with baby #2and my daughter is 24 yr old and finally going to have a sibling lmao. She keeps asking me why I waited so long and honey I can tell u it wasn't by choice
