- V.23 is here! And thanks to our special guests, we have our first licensed song by none other than DRAGONFORCE! They have kindly provided us with our first licensed song, TROOPERS OF THE STARS off their new album EXTREME POWER METAL (available now, so go grab/listen to it!).

With v.23, we are really close to the end of our journey with Clone Hero and will soon be switching over to StrikeLine. That's not to say that Clone Hero won't receive any more updates, as we'll likely fix any major bugs and introduce Drums towards the end of the year. Thanks for being here with us, we've got lots more coming in the future!
Please do be aware of a few things though in v.23:
Because of changes to both the song cache format and player profiles, both will need to be recreated when you first launch v.23. So if your profiles are gone and you're waiting impatiently for the scanning to be done, don't panic (and please don't bug the Discord staff about it) because this is intended. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it happens.
Online multiplayer will require sharing your IP address with others (if you are hosting), so be careful and only give your IP out to people you trust and DO NOT show it on stream or in videos. You can use tunneling services like Hamachi or VPN's, but be aware you still need to be smart about who you play with.
And rest be assured, your scores are waiting for you in v.23.

Drum support is coming by the end of the year.
And how complicated would be to add pro keyboard support?? Because only rockband 3 (and phase shift?) have a good support for the instrument

Congratulations on working so hard for the community and providing the best rhythm game ever that is Clone Hero! This update had something symbolic and I believe that all of us who play the game were very happy.

There's gonna be new graphics (can't roll with literal stolen Guitar Hero notes forever lol) as well as some engine tweaks and an official setlist of community music and licensed songs.

Great work on this game.
As a fan of Guitar Hero and Dragonforce i can only love this. Since i played Through the fire and flames on GH3 im a huge fan of the band, where on multiple concerts etc. Please try to get the whole new album licensed!

@@mapleranger420 you have to have matching ip's.. Give yours to a friend or whomever when you create a server... Should be able to find your ip in the settings folder inside clone hero folder.

My controller works perfectly fine on the menu, but with the new update, no notes are strumming. It's like the strum bar just stops working. Somebody plz help

I downloaded this and tried to put in Tap note setlist 1 and it doesnt show up but it did in the old build. I have tried renameing the shit out of the songs and everything but they just arent showing up whats with that?
Anyone have tips on how to run this game smoothly on a Mac? It runs horribly on it and unfortunately my Mac is the only thing I got right now.

I have problems with custom videos. It stays stuck in the middle of the song when I occupy a Wallpaper Engine. this did not happen in v.22
Background videos do not repeat. For example, I had a 15-second video and it was replayed during the song, now that doesn't happen.
