Imagine if he does Burden of Dreams and Silence. The climbing world will be upside down. He also did excalibur that adam couldn't top.. really rooting for Stefano here!
Love the mythology of the Burden of Dreams boulder. Whilst there's several V17's now, it really feels like the holy grail to me. Just 5 hard moves, no tricks, just hard bouldering. Would love to see more sends for sure!

Great timing with this video as today was Will's first session in Finland on the real one, and he did all 5 moves in like half an hour! This thing is going to go this year
I wonder how Nalle is feeling about all of this. All of these pros going for the second ascent and all the recent YT attention. So many Burden videos on YT popping up right now. Such an amazing amazing FA. Where are you Nalle!? We miss you.
Nalle really just dropped the world's most coveted boulder and then dipped (and then tried the dawn wall, and then disappeared again)
With each video, Nalle becomes more of a legend!
It's mad that it took over half a decade for the best of the next generation with better training background, an amazing 3D print replica and the knowledge about the beta (don't forget that Nalle did experiment with different betas over multiple seasons before committing to the one everyone is now using) to even come close to standing a chance. Not to mention the mental aspect of him literally climbing into unknown territory difficult wise, not knowing if its even possible. And to top it all off it is such an amazing pure and aesthetically pleasing boulder.
I think Wills, Shawns, Stefanos, Aidans etc. amazing focus and progress on this has really been an eye opener what an awesome achievement that FA was.

@@manseau7214 Yes, Aiden and Shawn are good contenders, although I feel Mr.Bosi is extremely close.
I believe the gap is wider in sport, where people like Ste and Seb are quite a bit ahead still.
But I am under the impression Mr.Bosi is just getting started; people do need some time to get used to new ideas.

This is just such a fun thing to see because it reminds me of the best kind of bouldering sessions: no weird tension or posturing; good vibe; lots of support and psyche. Really makes me want to start climbing again!

It is SO NICE to see all the strong folks working on Burden! You'd have thought BoD would become one of those monoliths, more myth than reality -- too inaccessible, too hard, too _pure_ -- and Nalle one of those holy monks who suffers for our salvation, a path we admire but do not walk. But now! Shawn, Aidan, Will, Toru Nakajima, Vadim Timonov, and even sport climbers like Stefano! It feels like when Daniel was posting daily updates on RotSW, but with news that could come from any person. It's going to get repeated this year!
I'm such a climbing dork, and I can't wait to see it repeated! I'm more excited even than wherever the next V17 FA comes from!

It would be crazy to see Lattice analyze a large cohort of climbers, working on the replica over a extended period of time. Test finger strength, weight, climbing style, and then begin to count how much time/how many sessions it took to link individual moves on a five move Boulder. I think that could be easily scored and a lot of interesting insights about limit climbing and the marginal strength gains that happen in that space could be studied.
