I remember these young fellas have entered a subway car where we were sitting and started to do acrobatic stunts to this beat coming from a boombox while the train was moving. It was beyond amazing.

SuppaTenshi I know that those games have the worsts fatalities of the entire saga, but I can't find much more details that show Armageddon and DC as bad games (At least Armageddon because I haven't played DC Universe but I watched reviews and gameplays) MK A had lots of fighter, the which you can create (Kreate) ten fighters per memory card, an outstanding konquest mode, an excellent Mario Kart styled minigame and lots of unlockable kontent. I really can't understand all the hate upon it

MoogerMe The Konquest mode in Armageddon SUCKED in comparison to the open world Konquest mode of Deception. It was way too linear. Deadly Alliance was awesome and Deception was even better. For one reason is that they took Sub-Zero's longest combo from DA and added a button in Deception to make two hits longer. And I've only played 9 once and I absolutely hate it and after watching all the trailers of X (ex or ten, take your pick), I'm gonna hate it even more.

What makes Mortal Kombat even cooler is the fact that it spawned the only good movie adaptation of a fighting game. Neat surprise.
To hell with the sequel, though. I still believe the movie was intentionally bad.
Mortal Kombat movies are awesome bad, yes they're kinda terrible but at the same time they're just that great. I can't wait to play the new one.. They better have Havok!

It would seem that I absentmindedly mashed up the brands Stride and Trident. Most likely a result of attempting to tune the commercial out and the pain killers I was on. Anyways, it was a nice catch but don't you think you're just a little over excited? This must be your first time ;)

Thank god Ed boon made a reboot of the entire series. MK 9 finally has an actual story line unlike the others. Plus I can't wait until Mortal kombat X comes out.
Nope. Mortal Kombat was one of the few things keeping Midway from bankruptcy. That generation sold quite well despite your opinion of it. Deception probably being the best from the era. Midway went bankrupt because most of their other games flopped. Hard.

The Challenge Tower, the awesome series of strangely specific challenges that usually take forever to beat because you keep skipping all the hard challenges after two tries.

Kayla W. To do them easily, you just need to hold block while pressing all the buttons except the last one and press the last one, while not pressing block. This makes your character to stand still while pressing combination, so he doesn't move or jump while doing it.

There was actually NO depth to the fighting system. I'm a fairly competitive fighting game player and compared to the balance and finesse in games like SF4, MK9, and Tekken, it was a literal pile of dog crap. Fun for beginners who just want to play superman vs scorpion, but utter garbage to the fighting game community (hence why it was never at evo)

The Mortal Kombat soundtrack single-handedly made me a fan of techno-industrial music.
I still have and love the MK Soundtrack of the first movie.
It also introduced me to, 2 Unlimited, who MK 'was heavily inspired by' to make their own tune.
But, the soundtrack to the Mortal Kombat movie and Killer Instinct the game are still legendary.

not many people bought the ps vita version of MK (2011) so tremor wasn't that famous or known.. and i think the one's shown here were from the MK3(?) game where all 7 were present..
