- In today's video we talk about the recent leaks on the Dodge Website of what looks to be a 2025 charger with a hemi option.
@ButterDaInsider is going through his sources as well to try and verify this info. This wouldn't be the first time there was an error posted on the Dodge Website, but is it an error on purpose? Was this done to see if the brand would Garner interest or help with their falling stock price?
Lets discuss it in the comments - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Dodge needs a high rev V8. The Hemi is great but a new v8 with newer tech is needed.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Slow Joe actually woke up last night to just pass out onstage 😮😮😮😂😂. Get Tavares the fuck out and bring the HEMI back already!!!!!!!
They realize if they are done with the Hemi, they are done period.
They know what we want, they know what we will buy. That's what is so infuriating for me. They know and they spit on us with the Hornet.
I was told it was fake on their website. But I will say they said the same thing last year when the Stage 3 kits leaked last year...
Facts lol. Figured it was BS. But wasn't sure
It’s fake, poor photoshop
Bye bye Joe. Welcome back Trump. Like Trump says if EVs are going to dominate it's because the people want to buy them. Let the people decide the market. Don't force them to buy EVs or tiny problematic turbo engines.
Trump 2024! I agree brother
@@JCVACCARO yeah I heard yesterday that Trump has a 20 point plan or what have you, and one of them is getting rid of the EV mandates!
Hopefully someone leaks new quality control
Hopefully I have a 2018 charge scat pack and the door panels falling apart car has been in the shop with electrical problems wrote numerous letters to dodge never a reply. Bubbling under the paint.
Also, it needs the door scallops
It better come back it’s stupid to kill the one thing that has a loyal fan base and keeps them coming back to buy more
Facts bro.
It comes down to the money, Chargers with batteries won't sell like Chargers with Hemi engines.
Trump 2024! Abolish the f*cking EPA and EV mandates.
Nut job begone!
Good luck with that LMFAO.
What about the software, WiFi connections, overt spying devices, and driver interference systems?
Do we even know if the new Charger since designed to be an EV or straight 6 even has room to be fitted with a hemi?
EPA & EV mandates like always dictate changes to make these Automobile oligarchs filthy rich.
The ruling class, elite and gatekeepers dictate to these corrupt politicians.
The Chevron Deference (the muscle behind the EPA and others) was stuck down by SCOTUS today, the EPA can't enforce anything without congressional approval. BTW the Hornet moved 8,000 vehicles last quarter and climbing quickly..
Considering 16k off the sticker price, yup. Biggest problem noticed so far, fuel pumps....
As long as manufacturers continue to build "vehicles" that run on software, have WiFi connections, with overt spying devices and driver interference systems, the future of "cars" is finished. I can't imagine anyone buying a "vehicle", and I use that term very loosely, where the government, the manufacturer, the insurance companies, and who knows who else, is watching and listening to every move they make, everything they say, tracking them, and remotely taking control of the vehicle away from them, a "vehicle" which THEY supposedly OWN. I have taken steps to make sure I have enough real "cars" to last the rest of my life.
TK - Arman here. Love your knowledge on how you synthesize past information to prove a point. For example how you used the bmw info to show a European trait ;)
Don’t hold your breath waiting on it.
The only argument against that is the 1000's of unsold Hemi's still clogging dealer lots. Makes it harder to justify reanimating the production.
Let’s rephrase that thousands of unsold 5.7s they are asking 48-60 k for is a joke. The R/Ts should be low 40s and under.
I think it was the dealerships taking advantage of the "last calls" and charging outrageous markups on them.
They can’t sell what they have now thats why
That charger is ugly as balls
Dude, i was at the dealership ship yesterday. The sales guy told me most of their staff has left to go work for other brand dealers. And that nothing is selling! They still have 6 hornet from 6 month's ago and told me the 2 of ev been battery replaced 3 times on the hornets!!
I’m now I’m holding that cup of little tea with your pinky out is priceless. You know that’s why I put a hot poker up there but it drives him crazy. Keep up the good contact brother love you channel.
Part of the Challenger and Charger's appeal was their good looks... Especially the Challenger. That new Charger falls short.
If they do put a Hemi in the new Charger, and keep the prices from being unobtanium, they won't be able to build enough of them for 10 years.
Now look, I'm a Chevy guy. I just said "if" they build that car with a Hemi, it will sell soo good that who ever pulls the trigger to build it with a Hemi will be looked upon in such a positive light they have a job for life.
Just build it, the customers will come. 50k max for middle end. If you get stupid with the price, nobody can afford them. Look at what is sitting on the lots right now. Nobody can afford it.
Cool information
What about the 'Cuda? Is it really happening?
This seems like the Pontiac situation from a few weeks ago 🤔
If you really listen to Tim when he spoke about the new Charger he said the end of the hemi the way we know it or something like that. He never said they wouldn't use the Hemi engine again. He worded it in a way to kinda leave it open. He said no more LX platform cars with Hemis
Well that is something to be excited for.
As I have said, car manufactures usually have a 7 year plan on new models. It would not release one that fast.
Dodge's Facebook page has consistently posted the hemi powered cars all year long and the comments have various "you don't build this car anymore". I don't think it's directly because of the Presidential debate.
With all the current quality issues, the layoffs of engineering staff, plus the lies of last call why would anyone have something to do with anything Carlos Tavaras says or does. He has to go before the CJDR brands can be possibly rebuilt into viable automobile brands.
I’d like to hope your theory is correct but I think it’s just a way to sell their last of their V8 inventory.
Well as the saying goes , Time will tell.
Right , but no Challenger
Question is , with the $hitbird running the company and the poor quality of the materials being used, who would buy one if the made it? And, would you trust it not to blow up?
If true they fucked over the charger buyers like the 392 jeep buyers
Well we know the Hemi will stay in production next year because of the Jeep wrangler. So they still have the engine in production.
As you know these are bolted to the asphalt at your local dealers. Huge problem not selling…no help with incentives to move them.
This charger is starting to grow on me
The new Charger does not stand a chance unless it has hemi and V6 engines. Sell no EV Chargers or sell hundreds of thousands of hemi's and pay the fines.
Hey Tk, Personally I feel the Chrysler builder should be deemed a landmark and not close, I like many other don't want a "special edition" Hemi Charge for a short term. We just want it back for good. But on the flip side, If still worried about the Stellantis "quality" of the new 6.4 and maybe 5.7 engine that may be put in the new Chargers and maybe Cuda's if put into production. Going a little off topic, if the new is legit, I kinda wish Mopar would consider purchasing a New Transmission for the Hemi power plant, nothing really agents the 8 speed transmission. But the 10 speed the Ford and Chevy have in there Mustangs and Camaro's and even in some truck variants is a great transmission, I wish Morpar would have also purchase the same transmission.
About time it went back to a 2 door
Hey Did You Get To See The New 2025 Super Charged V-8 Plymouth Barracuda's That's Gonna Have a Hemi V-8!I Saw Them on Google,Yep The Classic Plymouth Barracuda is Coming Back Next Year.👍Can't Wait.❤👍
If they bring the Charger out with a Hemi then I for one will celebrate even though they pulled a rope a dope with their customers over the "Last Call" models. However, 0-60 in 4.4 seconds for the 6.4 Hemi? That is slower than the last gen Challenger and Charger teamed up with the 8 speed is it not? 🤔
They need to offer a v8 option period because they will not sell ev period
You can still buy a 2024 Hemi.. in the Durango 392 or Durango Hellcat.. looked at a 2024 Durango 392 today.. too bad they were asking $91,000 for it.
Stellantis has already pissed off too many loyal customers.
Joe is just flat out nuts... 😅 bring back the hemi make america great again.
Honestly for me at this point Tavares has killed CDJR for me. Even if they brought back the Hemi they don't have any engineering support in the US to back it anymore.
FJB
I think the chances of the HEMI coming back are about the same as Pontiac coming back.
And I hope both happen! But I'm not holding my breath.
The question the real question is can anybody afford it they can barely sell the cars now how you going to come up with this and you not even selling the ones on the Lots now I drove past a a Dodge dealership and none of those cars are moving they even have 2021 still sitting on a lot
Yes I do
I think it’s his olive branch to mopar fans , and I don’t he can be trusted or the car to be desired if it’s not American made.
The bigger question is can they sell the 23s & 24s before all their dlrs go bankrupt.
Dodge really needs to do something. Chevy having all these variants of the c8. Ford having whipple( Shelby supersnake) and roush just released a supercharged mustang teaser. Don’t get me wrong I think the hurricane HO is a cool motor and will be mod friendly like the B58 engines. Only thing dodge has out right now that is remotely interesting is the RHO and that is just a normal raptor competitor.
If mopar doesn't build super charged hot rods somebody else will the demand is there the sold a lot of cars
I think as long as stelantis owns dodge, I'm not buying what they're selling anyhow!
Even if it's true, is anyone dumb enough to buy any Dodge product right now? I take that back. If they are dumb enough to pay 100k and 200k over msrp, then of course they are.
I just bought a 2021 Ram. I Have no faith in the new stuff. Drops in to reverse at will, blown head gaskets. Nah, dont want they are selling right now.
Give it up, hemi is gone. All V8s are gone for CDJR
id buy a 2 door and 4 door if they wide body them and put hellcats or i could just add hellephant 2.0 or 3.0 1200 or 1500hp stock lol
A 60k muscle car won't save them
The question is...would you even want the upcoming Charger with a Hemi. Based on appearance alone I'll pass.
Is this cars or corrupt US politics? If this is politics, I won’t ever watch again!
Trump trying to make America 🇺🇸 great again
They better!!! Trump 2024!!!
46 is not all there yet other than the rate at which inflation increases the country is doing better than when 45 left office.
Presidents have very little legislative power besides their EO and veto powers, most policies are and must be passed by congress.
Trump can't be president from prison.
😂 calm down drug user-vg7mu6yn5o
Clown
Technically he can, besides there’s zero chance he will actually serve in a prison for many reasons
Take your knee pads & go home…this is automotive, not the Taylor swift political group..🙄 And yes, we’re all laughing at you. 😂🤣👏
Ok bot. Sure
F the electric shit I want v8 superchargers please dodge was stupid to go to electric crap
