Keep your eye on the oil and the weep hole in the rear of the oil pan. My 23 started leaking badly at 700 miles. Not catastrophic but if you see it bring it in asap for a new oil/coolant pump.

All I keep hearing is how proud you are about how much you work. That alone is worth this video, the bike is just the reason we got here. Keep at it brobro. You’re worlds above where I was at 21. I am 33 now and I can finally afford these things but boy did it take some…a lot of sacrificing.
Once that sacrifice is done it’s all about sticking to your work ethic and everything glides off. Stay safe!!

I'm 19 right now and have a good part-time job that allowed me to afford my current bike with insurance. I also have my license. I'm also in college as well. But I can relate, all it takes is hard work because i work many hours as well along side school.

Same story with although I don't have great job. I saved up for 2 years to buy my dream bike for my 21ste birthday (got it 2 months before my birthday). At that stage I wanted a R6 and got on. On a GSXR 1000 unfortunately got in a accident start of Feb 23 and still recovery from it.

I will definitely be posting videos on the dragon before you go so look out for those. Planning on doing what to do around there, places to eat. Other cool spots to hike/ride. @@s1kdk yes siiirr! 9 of us rented a cabin in north Georgia to ride up there and then to the Dragon. I have been there twice but it's been awhile. Be sure to ride cherohala skywaywhen you're there too

I go to granite peak in the winter as well to snowboard! It’s a 2 hour drive one way for me but very worth it. Let me know when winter comes and we can shred some slopes! Small world..

I started riding 3 years ago. I suggest getting a smaller bike like a 300-400 and start off from there! Super fun hobby, you won’t regret it :)

I had the same problem with getting stuff like s1k M package, my home theatre and marine aquarium, people say how can you afford all this stuff, and that’s because I run my own business and it’s outside and I work my arse and bloody hard work, but it pays well , where others are to busy drinking and partying and wasting money, any way I kind of know where your coming from
This generation is fucked up! I’m completely sober my man. I don’t go out and party or drink. Most I spend my money on is my bike and shit I need for the future. Glad we have that similarity it’s nice to have!

After getting the tune added, how does that work with your warranty now? Is it voided or do you tune it back to stock before you bring it back to the dealership?
I’m going to tune it back to stock before I bring it in every time. Only a few buttons to do that it’s not hard!

Could you tell me what company you have for insurance ? Also , is it full coverage ? GEICO is charging me 6k yearly for this bike , insane
I went through State Farm. I have called over 30 different places, none of them gave me a better quote then State Farm! BUT quotes are all different for everybody, they could charge me $215 but charge you $300. Also helps to have a clean record (I don’t)… if you’re young, see if your parent could be a co owner on the bike to get the insurance down
@@s1kdk im 25 , this is currently the only thing keeping me away from the bike , I could go get it tomorrow but insurance alone even at 200 a month is half the monthly financing amount. I’ll keep researching see if I find something reasonable , thanks bro 💪🏼
@Crozilramos Yep I had the same thought, every other company was quoting me around $350 a month. It was kind of a deal breaker for me, then State Farm hooked it up. Keep in mind I live in a very rural area, not a lot of traffic and far away from what’s considered a “big” city! Wish you the best of luck my friend🤝🏼❤️

What did your dealership say about the warranty with the brentune?
They suggested I get one! BMW has to 100% prove that the Bren tune caused an issue with the bike, which is very hard to do. I will be tuning it back to stock every time I go back into the dealer just incase ;)
@s1kdk that's what the dealer in Dallas told me but the one in Houston said they will void me automatically if they find out. Looks like I'm using the dallas dealer because I can't take 2nd gear anymore

I bought a brand new cbr1000rr right off the show room floor when I was 22 it’s not impossible. My payments were 250 a month.
