Great video! I know you've mentioned it, but rider hight and weight matters a lot more. The 5 bikes you talked about are not comfortable for bigger guys. I'm 6'4/210 and my first bike was a 2004 R6 because I thought it looked cool. But everytime after an hour of driving my back started to hurt really bad, and switched to GSXR K4 really fast. In the case someone is 6ft and above bigger bikes, even as a starter, are a must to be comfortable. Over here in Europe the rules are different. And if you're a starter under the age of 21, you get a limiter on your bike. So starting out on a bigger 1000cc doesn't matter. If you're over 21 and 6ft, you need to learn to control a bigger bike fast! A friend of mine is just starting out but is in his late 20's and over 6ft. I've recommended him to start out on something like a Z750 for example. (sorry for the long text)

Me personally I’ve been fine starting out on a s1k. I learn more everyday I ride and I know my limits. I also started in my mid 20’s instead of a teenager. If you grew up riding dirt bikes I think personally you’ll be fine, just watch out for low IQ drivers. Also, I agree with you on people who just ride for clout. If you wanna ride do it because you love motorcycles like we do, not for bragging and showing off.

Had exactly the same problem. To pay for the credit is no problem but the insurance was the big point. I'm 22 myself and I pay 125€ per month with a special BMW insurance offer. Normally it would be around 400€ only for the insurance per month. Now I pay 550€ per month with credit and insurance.

200 a month for full coverage is not expensive at all. If 200 a month is too expensive for you then you shouldn't even consider this bike.

Honestly, you were giving a nice amount of space for PJ to do his thing when your other homie jumped in between you. I’m sure PJ felt more pressure to up the pace with the other guy right behind him. Mistakes happen tho. Glad he’s alright!
