Greetings from a truck driver from Louisiana. These older sermons along with John Macarthur and many others like these have transformed this rough ,proud Cajun into a entirely new man. I thank God for His great kindness and mercy He bestows on this wretched sinner. It just amazes me.

Hey brother, thanks for sharing your testimony, it immediately touched my heart! Only God’s Holy Spirit can transform a man’s heart and open spiritual eyes. To me, this salvation miracle confirms the greatness of God, and His great love for us, to give His Son Jesus as the ransom for our eternal life. Christ, Cristos, the Anointed One, Gifted the Power of God. Jesus avoided title Messiah. Jesus veiled Himself. My Father in Heaven has Blessed you Peter that you know I am Christ. Jesus explained, have to die to resolve you with God. Through me. ♥️✝️♥️

Did he call him rock or did he say on this rock, meaning the truth you just spoke, peter saying who Jesus was being the rock which the kingdom/ church was to be built on.
24:00 when Christ said the words on this rock I will build my church he wasn't referring to Peter but on to himself. Christ is the rock not peter. This is one of the problems that the Catholic Church has turned into their heretical man exalting control fear based agendas. The rock that Christ was referring to was himself that is directly tied to the revelation of Christ's identity that God had given to Peter. The identity of Christ is the son of God. That is the revelation.

Christ is a title, in English therefore its Christ Jesus not Jesus Christ.
I agree with Christ (Anointed One) being a title. I say Christ Jesus or Jesus, the Christ.
Similarly, with Messiah, I believe.
Jesus is essential but not enough. The role of man, his contribution to salvation, is missing. If this were just the work of Christ, Man would enter Paradise in shame, as he would have done nothing to deserve it!.
Otherwise, did God make a mistake when He create Man ?
Christ is All there is and we will enter Heaven humbly knowing we are far from the perfection of our Lord . All our works do is earn us crowns as a reward for our good deeds.
That's blasphemy,. We contribute nothing. And we deserve Hell. Heaven is not earned. If all Christ did was die on the cross, that would remove our guilt but it would not make us righteous. He lived a perfectly sinless life for us. He took our guilt and gives us his righteousness. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

The whole point of the gospel in God not giving what we righteously deserve! Otherwise we would all be condemned! For all have sinned! "Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith."
I will not enter heaven in shame, but the only boast one can have, is to boast in The Lord of their salvation.
Your comment really worries me, deeply for you. Examine your doctrine, may it not lead to boasting in yourself.
Ephesians 2:8-9, and no James 1:22 doesn't contradict it. We cannot add to our salvation!
Amazing-preacher with honorable dress BUT interestingly the people were dressed , in my opinion , in honorable attire ! So much honorable attire that sets the tone for honorable discussion . Having served Jesus for some 20 years I am continually amazed by the “ relaxed dress code “ in most churches .
How would you dress if you met with a president or high positioned person ? Certainly we have lost reverence and dignity for the Christ of the Bible ! Certainly our relationship with God is a heart issue BUT how are we showing reverence and dignity to the world for the one who died for our sins .
I challenge us to appear to the world reverent and dignified as an outward sign on out inward reverence !!
