    My man!!!!!! I’ve been searching for the best power tool for RCs!!!! Another banger to the list!!!! Best RC youtuber out there! I’m only a minute and 18 seconds in and I already got amazing info on what hits to get!!!! I have hand MIP screw driver at (3 piece) and it is amazing. I wouldn’t go cheap on this. I am new and don’t know when to stop tightening. If I had cheap ones, I would have stripped something by now.
    Thank you for all of your amazing help!!

      I'd say it's the mechanic in me but I've been taking things apart since I was a little kid. My mom has a story where she put me in a crib left for a little while came back and I was in a pile of crib parts on the floor. Not sure if I believe it but it's still a fun story :-)

    Great video to share with everyone. Long before I stepped upto the Dewalt, I performed a similar modification to an Amazon Genesis power screwdriver, the clutch pack on that one had multiple shims under the spring, I removed two if I recall, and had the same end results on the low torque side, but that driver wasn't near as strong on the high torque settings as the one you show here! I'll take a look at the link in the description since you mentioned that it's even stronger than the Dewalt gyro w/clutch that i currently use!

    Shock pliers are definitely a must have! When i first got them i couldn't believe how easy it makes things. I have the small skil brand driver but doesnt have a clutch but the nice thing is i just turn it by hand (no power) with the driverb when im loosening at first or to tighten at the end i just go limp wrist where my wrist will just twist a bit and i stop power. I'll have to check these ones out as i like the clutch. Sometimes ill just use my dewalt drill or impact but obviously those are bigger and bulky

    Cool video. I own the Dewalt driver that has a gyro in it so you turn the drill to make it go in forward or reverse. The more you turn it the faster it will spin in that direction. It has very low torque settings that you can use so that it doesn't strip out screws. It was a pricy driver but it was worth it in my opinion. Always set the the torque low and finish by hand is the golden rule!! MIP bits are for sure a must have.

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  Před 4 měsíci +3

      The DeWalt driver is good. I've used them in the past. The only issue I have with them is that they don't really have enough to work on the top end to remove really stuck larger screws. This one after modification will install the smallest of screws without stripping and will try to rip your arm off at the highest setting.

    • @OGPAPERBOY77
      @OGPAPERBOY77 Před 4 měsíci +2

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @OGPAPERBOY77 yeah the DeWalt driver is good but I found that it doesn't quite have the power for really stuck large screws.
      Project farm did a comparison video with a bunch of different power drivers and the no cry came out on top with about 50% more to work than the DeWalt

    • @OGPAPERBOY77
      @OGPAPERBOY77 Před 4 měsíci +2

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  Před 4 měsíci +2

      @@OGPAPERBOY77 yeah it just depends on how stuck they are. Like I said testing showed that the no-cry has about 50% more torque than the DeWalt. The no-cry has enough torque that you wouldn't be able to hold on to it if it was shaped like the DeWalt.

      I just watched the video, and it did very well. My wife would agree with PF it's a little loud if I'm working on a car while we're watching a tv show. That's one reason why I picked up the Dewalt Gyro Driver, quiet, powerful, and the clutch is very sensitive for delicate screws. I still use the NoCry daily just for the amount of power it offers for removing stubborn screws and tightening wheel nuts. @@DoRC

    I was wondering what made yours preferable when modded. That’s a great tip for sure and all drills are not created equal so those number settings mean squat between brands. 😂 Keep up the awesome work, get out and bash!

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yeah the numbers are essentially arbitrary. I really like this one after modding because you can turn it all the way down to basically nothing yet at full strength it's one of the strongest drivers available. Project farm did a comparison test of a bunch of different drivers that included this one and it came out on top for torque.
