I have one. I just love everything of it (and my wife too as a passenger). 22 000 kms on the clock and we got no problem at all. 4,2 liters/100 km average consumption, little maintenance, a very good motorbike. Thank you, Guzzi engineers!
And thank you for your comment! Good luck with the Guzzz!
Cool. May I kindly ask what other bikes you have owned for perspective?
It looks nice.
@@scottloftin1730 Are you asking me or our friend Pascal? :)

sorry for my late response, but way to much. check this czcams.com/video/lhQkcf_ZtkE/video.htmlsi=F3w-STT-OUz-Z1Lq&t=320 @@scottloftin1730
I had a Le Mans mkl in 1980. Loved that bike for 10 years. Then Guzzi made nothing I liked until the V85TT. You can now buy them new for £9499 in England. Great review, cheers.😊
That's a good price! thanks for your comment!
Just picked up my 2023 Adventure in red/white/blue. So far I’m loving it.
Is that already the new model? Congrats!
This and your previous video about it are straight to the point, you're sell this bike to me. 😎👍
Thank you!!!
Excellent review. I own this bike in flat black and have grown to love it. Valve adjustments are a snap to do yourself; no need to a dealership for this job.
I can understand! It’s a lovely bike indeed!
Thanks for the review of the V85TT. I try honk it’s a great bike and an excellent package. For an older (and middle aged) motorcyclist it ticks all the boxes : style, enough performance, great badge, character, great riding dynamics and easy maintenance.
I agree, thanks for your comment Nigel!
This is a beautiful motorcycle, in my opinion. I want to trade in my Aprilia Dorsoduro for this one. It reminds me of the DD in many ways. They have a lot of similar small quirks, as they are both Piaggio Group bikes. However, this one is more comfortable. I have had the DD for many years, and it is time for me to get something more practical. Great review! Thank you.
Always loved the Dorsoduro! Never ridden one but I did own a Aprilia Shiver. I would also consider the Tuareg 660 if I were you!
Great review
Thank you Stanley, apprieciate it!
Mooie garagedeur gekozen ❤
Goed eh
I love that the yootoob closed captions state "music" and "applause" when you are showcasing the sound of the engine. It's ironically accurate! 😂 One tip I'd offer you, and every motorcycle channel, don't just give your height as it's not super helpful. Share your inseam as it is way more relevant to how the bike fits and is more relatable. Two riders that are the same height can have very different leg lengths and thus a very different fit for the same bike!
Thank you mate! Will do that next time!
The looks compensates for the rest 😀
Haha! Yeah a bit.. but not a bad bike at all!
Thanks the post. I have a V7 Stone, but am becoming increasingly drawn to the Centanerio version.
Have you ridden it?
Thanks for the great review. Just one friendly advice from my side: It is now the second V85TT video I see from you where you just guess the specs of the motorcycles and get them wrong just to correct them in editing. Preparing the specs and facts about the bike beforehand to get them right in the first place is much more appealing for the viewer. Otherwise the question comes up "Why is he trying to tell me anything about this bike if he didn't do his research?".
I love the bike and I will get one very soon! Ride safe!
Thanks mate! We had the specs with us. And the google search said 76HP for example. But when editing I checked again and it was 80hp (this was because of the update of the engine I guess) on the 22 model. but thanks for your feedback!
He was actually correct the first time. The Euro 5 bike has less HP but makes torque a little lower in the RPM range than the Euro 4 bikes.
@@Dave-sw2dm Confusing right!
Is it so hard to take a look at the Moto Guzzi website? It WAS 80 HP and is NOW 76 HP. I can’t find anything confusing with that!
@@Mac_okee thanks for your nice comment. It’s different between countries and regulations.
I've owned a 1100 sport. I tried and tried to find what might make it look even better. Anything that was available or came to my mind did the opposite. Moto Guzzis hardly ever get "tuned". They are as beautiful as they can get, straight from the box. Wonderful brand!
I agree!
Great great great!!! One question that I would like to have your point of view .. I have watched your comparison videos but still , I wonder how you gonna answer it.. :) I got a Moto Guzzi v7 Racer and now also considering to have a second bike to take touring .. I m in love with v100 Mandello but also thinking like v85 TT would be a better solution for my necassity .. I know v100 is a better bike , I know the capabilities .. but I will be keeping my Racer for city riding .. How would you handle this situtation :D v85 TT or v100 as a second bike ? Cheers mate
Really depends mate! I think the v100 is the better touring bike and a lot more fun than the v85tt. Unless you ride two op the v100 is the better option. But also consider the V100 Stelvio which is coming next year
In the United States the Guardia D'Onore V85TT comes with the same luggage as the Anniversary version.
Good to know!!
Mine does have 5 modes: Rain, Road, Sport, Offroad and Custom
Awesome to hear!
I did a test drive a few weeks ago and really liked this bike. But did anyone else notice how the metal on the sides of the bike next to the foot pegs sticks out? I felt my feet were a little bit cramped and uncomfortable. I don't notice anyone mentioning that.
I did not notice this!
KTM 890 SMT or this one? For occasional weekend rides, for somebody who is not pushing bike fast, Moto guzzi could be a good choice. And I think maintenance is cheaper on MG.
Good question. The SMT is a whole different beast, way more power, more agile, also less reliable than the guzzi. Also different character and I think you will lose a lot of money on the if you ever want to resell it. So If you are not a very sporty rider and maybe also want to travel on the bike I would recommend a v85tt
This one or Tuareg 660 for street riding 90%?
V85TT due to the drive shaft.
How tall are you?
czcams.com/video/OBJ8o59A-DE/video.htmlsi=uhNxIr7fFpig2_di&t=215
The Euro4 version has 80 hp and the Euro5 version 76 hp..
Thanks!
Again, The only Moto Guzzi with transvers engine was those first single sylinder bikes. ALL Guzzi V-tvin engine is montet LONGDITUDE

Pared-back, functional and a dream to handle, the V85 TT transforms even the most banal everyday excursion into an adventure. Its clean, sculptured lines showcase the Mandello eagle’s pride and joy: the transverse 90° V twin air-cooled engine with OHV distribution and two valves per cylinder. This 853cc beauty delivers a maximum 76 horsepower with an impressive torque of 62 ft-lb at 5000 rpm. Add to this the iconic fuel tank with a record capacity of 6.07 gal and you have 248.5 uninterrupted miles of exhilarating adventures ahead. www.motoguzzi.com/us_EN/models/v85-tt/v85-tt-850-v-twin-4s-2022/
Good review but I think it is small for tall people like you (and me).
Thanks mate! I do not agree. But I do think my height is about the max
Your in Norden 901 territory
No negatives?
It’s a little outdated. Feels
Like you are riding an old bike but that’s not necessarily negative
Skuur
Bike looks great. Especially in these yellow, red, white colours. But I tested it and I don't really like anything about it. I was hoping, as they say in all these videos, that this is a motorcycle with the feel of a classic. And it's just outdated. It's heavy and that's how it goes. Especially at low speeds. It's good that this motorcycle is not another superbike, but it would be nice to be able to overtake a car with it - it accelerates slower than my bicycle. The display is small in ugly colors.
Yes i agree! If you like the outdated feeling it’s good. Otherwise I would not recommend it! But it’s not slow I don’t agree in that!
It's not a transverse engine. The crankshaft is parallel to the wheelbase. Harley V twin engine is transverse. Please learn the definitions.
Thanks. This is not correct. Depends on where you read it. Transversal engines and longitudal engines are often mistaken for each other. If you check the specs online many websites claim that it is a transversal 90 degree v-twin www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/moto%20guzzi/Moto_Guzzi_V85TT_19.html

You need to get out more.
Music….was completely unnecessary
I do not agree. I'm sorry!
Moto stupenda.. da quando c'è in Italia BMW dorme un po' meno tranquilla 😁
haha yes indeed
