Moto Guzzi Limited Edition - Guardia D'Onore

Moto Guzzi has just last year celebrated its 100 years of of the brand and this year in 2022 they celebrate another very important anniversary. They are celebrating 75 years of being the only and official motorcycle to be used in the Guard of honor protecting the Italian president, called the Guardia D'Onore.
Moto Guzzi has supplied them a first V85TT for their fleet of California's at the moment and now we as the public get the same as a Limited edition in the same colour and spec as the Guard of Honor. Only 1946 of these Limited Edition bikes will be manufactured and available for the public, commemorating the year Moto Guzzi's first replaced the horses in the Cavalry.

Moto Guzzi's Adventure bike, the V85TT, is such a compact bike making it an extremely practical every day commuter as well as a weekend get-away adventure bike. This is an Italian sculpture, oozing loads of charm and flair, handmade and produced in low quantities. Moto Guzzi has stayed true to their design in using their traditional transverse V layout motor as well as shaft drive. This makes this the only under 1000cc adventure bike using a shaft drive.

My all time favorite manufacturer, loved these bikes ever since I had a 81 V50 mk Il in the 80s, no other machine like them, classic, unique and beautiful, not overdone like all the others and the new V100 Mandello and V100 Stelvio are just stunning and oh how I wish I could afford one!
