I’m glad to hear your relationship is going well. At 17, you shouldn’t be worried about making this relationship last forever. That puts too much pressure on you and the relationship. It’s better to think “we will be together for as long as we are supposed to be.” If that’s a year great, if that’s a week great. If that’s a long time great.

Sorry if I am to late, but there is a few ways to get over it. One way is to drop subtle hints and see how they take them. Then after a while, if you think that he’s the one, just go for it and say “will you go out with me.” It was hard for me to do it, but it just comes down to bravery and stepping out of your comfort zone

Lol in Massachusetts it’s harder to get dates that fit my standards, and I only JUST got my first date at almost 18
1: keep it light
2: have a conversation about your relationship
3: hang out with lots of friends
4:don’t rush it
5: don’t get too physical too fast
6: do not put up with crap (take notes of red flags)

I’m in a developing relationship right now. I’ll admit we kinda rushed things physically. Not sex but it was very intimate. Afterwards we decided to slow down. Our relationship started off as platonic so it’s not a big deal. Knew each other for about a year so it was kinda easy to be comfortable enough to get physically. We’re not strangers.

This is awesome! I’d just keep playing off of each other and make sure that your relationship is mostly in person and less over text-meaning sometimes you will ignore each other at school and then text how mush you like each other over the phone, this is okay to start with but you want to translate your relationship from just digital to hanging out in person and taking it slow 💕 hope that helps!

SAME!!! But in high school and early relationships that loyalty didn't always serve me. So that is why I tell people to keep it light now so that when you are older and ready to find the one, you have the skills to do so!

I'm in 8th grade and a guy from 10th grade is like crazy about me. His friends won’t really judge u as long as you aren’t ugly (lol your not) . It’s just his friends can’t talk the same and say the same things when you are around most of the time so you may feel Akwardness. You don’t have to worry about his friends, but don’t try to get him to like your friends because 99.99% of boyfriends despise their GFs friends, they are just so annoying and nosy and ANNOYING
Trust me on this, I have never liked any of my GF friends and my friends have never liked their GFs friends either

You are in the best spot Because you have so many options! You should never feel forced into a relationship and you have the option to change your mind at any time. Especially if you like multiple guys you shouldn’t probably be in a relationship with just one

When it feels right. For me it was about 2-3 months into the relationship I think. It probably could have been a bit later because we were still in the honeymoon phase. Now its normal for me to say it and I say it genuinely and meaningfully. Loving someone isn't 100% feelings either, its also a decision.

It depends how old you are, some parents dont let there kids date till there out of the house or something like that, me and my gf are 14 and 15 and we keep our relationship secret irl because our parents wont approve of it and my dad thinks LGBTQ is against religion since were both girls I know that has nothing to do with the comment but that's another reason someone would keep a relationship a secret.
It could mean her parents don’t let her, or she just wanted to keep your relationship lowkey so people don’t give you guys too much attention. Don’t worry about it. Maybe speak to her about it.

3 days ago I had my first kiss with my best friend who I’ve known for 4 years, we both have a large group of the same friends. It wasn’t his first kiss. Listen to me. Don't even start dating people in highschool. Worst mistake I've ever made was trying to date people in highschool let alone date people at all. Stay single. Cause when you date and breakup you'll be alone again but worst you'll be totally heartbroken or embarrassed if they cheat on you etc. You don't want the humiliation, it's not worth the butterflies.
