Unbelievable sound on alto and acoustic piano. The real deal. 💯
One of my all time favorite solos by Bird. They’ve released outtakes from that session where he recorded this. It’s fun to hear them but I wonder if Bird would be pleased. The outtakes sound not as refined. It’s as if I can hear Bird playing in them knowing they are not the take he will want released. It’s great to hear him in that state though since it’s an indication of his humanness. He is a legend. Thanks for your effort. You guys sound great!!
