Costco has 871 warehouses worldwide: 602 in the United States, 108 in Canada, 40 in Mexico, 33 in Japan, 29 in the United Kingdom, 18 in South Korea, 15 in Australia, 14 in Taiwan, six in China, four in Spain, two in France, and one each in Iceland, New Zealand, and Sweden.
Oh I totally need to go to Iceland New Zealand and Sweden one!!!
Thanks for sharing.
NZ one is boring lol. Its mostly local/ australian products.
I am an Icelandic citizen but born in the Philippines. I must say, the "Icelandic" Costco is nothing interesting 😅
Damn.
It’s so interesting and cool to hear Benji communicating in Japanese 😮😮
It was interesting for me too 😆
We wanna hear more!!!!!❤
I was in auuu hearing him speak japanese😊
😂😂 same
Yes, American Costco card works in Japan (and Mexico). I’ve used it both places.
All Costco cards regardless of where purchased work internationally at all locations,
The membership card or the Costco visa credit card?
@@kspade1788 Costco credit cards very by country, some don't include your membership
You're supposed to be able to use costco credit cards in other countries regardless of whether or not it's the credit card for that country e.g. in Canada, costco only accepts mastercard but in usa it's visa.
@@lindsayder not credit cards only memberships, I worked for Costco for ten years. They will only if they are the same credit card like master card or visa
I didn't realize Benji understood so much japanese... I know his mom is Japanese but I didn't know he understood so much
Lucky my mom spoke to me in Japanese
@@BenjiManTVI’m happy she did that! You are a more well rounded person because of this. I’m from Alaska and I’m part AK native, unfortunately I don’t speak the language because my mom didn’t speak to me in our language, but I still know some words and understand some!
The refrigerator with the multiple compartments is so smart. Also really cool to hear you speak Japanese!
Benji it’s so cool to hear you speak, understand and translate Japanese! You don’t speak much of this!
I loved hearing Benji speaking Japanese! I have found more confidence speaking what little I know from hearing you! Thank you do much!
Thank you for sharing this Benji! Love seeing other country’s grocery shopping experience
Me too
Hi Benji, big fan! I just want to say thank you for your kindness. I works for Costco here in Chicago and not alot of ppl respect us employees. I really appreciate that.
Thank you for making these videos, feels like I’m on vacation when I’m watching. I also love grocery shopping in other countries 😊
Yes it’s like virtual traveling while being in cozy PJ‘s chilling. 🥰😅
Yes you can use your card to get into Costco in Japan. I went on a Saturday and literally couldn’t push the cart around, they were so full. It was crazy busy.
I'm curious to know if Judy and Benji speak to the girls in their respective native languages? Do they want to learn? That's so cool they could speak 3 languages!!
judy has mentioned she can speak understand bits and pieces of Tagalog, but she wouldn't consider herself fluent
They don’t
Studying japanese on my own and hoping to visit Japan someday. Hearing Benji communicating and using the language so confidently, even when a little broken, really gives me the boost to try my best. I'm so shy to speak even tho I do have native speaker to practice with just because I'm always reaching for perfection...😅❤
Hearing Benji speak Japanese is so Intriguing!!
This is how people probably feel when we speak Spanish in the US (when your not in a Spanish community)
Or when we go to Mexico and speak English lol
Standard soda cans are being re-formatted in the US. Mini cans (shorter and thinner) in 7.5 oz or 220mL are becoming more common. The 12 oz (355mL) cans are starting to come in the same skinny diameter cans, only taller. I am not sure if they are the same dimensions as the Red Bull cans though.
Thanks for sharing! I love Japan and the food so super happy you were able to check out Costco in Japan!!
You can now use your Costco card worldwide. I just used mine in France.
Thank you for sharing this with us Benji 🥰 This is so wonderful and informative 😊👍
Thanks, Benji. This was so interesting, especially the seafood. I’ve been enjoying your vlogs so much.
Really enjoying these vlogs Benji! Keep doing your thang! You’re so awesome and cool. Looks like you’re really passionate about food
I always wanted to go to Japan for all the different vending machines. Now I want to go the Costco stores,YUM.
Benji I just wanted to say I see your hard work in all of your videos! Loving the consistent uploads. You and your family are so authentic and inspiring. Thanks for sharing with us ❤
This was so fun to watch, thanks Beni!
Yes! We can use our US Costco Membership card in Japan. I love going to Japan's Costco whenever I visit because they have a lot of stuff which we don't have. My favorite is the canned tuna (sooo good and you can only get in Costco), mascarpone rolls, cheesecake and that strawberry custard!
It was so cool to hear you speaking Japanese. I remember when you and your sister were going to Japanese school years ago but I just don’t remember hearing you having to continuously communicate. Thank you for sharing that with us!! This was so fascinating, seeing the Costco And all of the differences. I feel like it all made sense. I wasn’t it specific thing that was mind blowing, it was just the joy of the entire experience, understanding the context of all of those foods, and the cultural implications of all of those foods .Love your passion for food and your content!
Should do comparison shopping at Hawaii Costco. Iwilei, on the outskirts of HNL, is reputed to be World's Busiest Costco!-lol
I’m loving the vlogs Benji thanks for sharing
Love this, That cheese your mom gave you is also my favorite cheese growing up. They are triangles inside and very yummy with pandesal. That shrimp katsu burger looks bomb too! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Benji that was so fun to watch and see all the different items available there. I wanted to see the health and beauty isle...Thanks for sharing :)
The most fascinating things you've vlogged at the Japanese Costco are those pre-chopped scallions, the white parts & green parts packed separately. I love how Japanese stores carry perfect, select produce. I'm older & get exhausted here in the States, picking & cutting off the not so fresh parts of produce. It would be a pleasure to buy things this fresh & ready to use.😋 Another fascinating find: The easy peel oranges.🍊 Cool!
The reason Japanese fruit is expensive and almost perfect looking, is that the farmers prune the trees for larger and sweeter fruit. In most countries, farmers will let the tree grow say 300 apples on a tree, the Japanese prune them to have 150 apples.
@@Mwoods2272 That is so interesting! Thank you. Apples are my favorite fruit. Usually it's the Fujis I buy but this week it's Envy apples. They are huge, crisp & juicy. Maybe imported from Japan.👍🏻🙂 🍎
Glad to see you enjoyed your grocery shopping in Japan.
The beans you mentioned are often eaten on the New Year’s. They are nice and sweet😊

Thanks for giving us a tour of a Japanese costco. They have some tasty looking items.
I've been waiting for this!コストコ🇯🇵
Me too
Omg love this video I love anything Japan 🇯🇵 ❤ we need the most Japan content while your there :) have fun
Thanks for the Costco tour...very interesting...really enjoyed it!
I truly enjoyed this video. I love everything Japanese! Thank you for sharing this Costco experience.
I love seeing the products I'm familiar with but with different packaging! I wonder also how different they taste. Fun vlogs Benji! Safe travels
I've really enjoyed your Japanese vlogs!
I love watching the grocery store content! Hope to see more from future travels :)
Why can't they have the sealable chips in the U.S so I don't have to clip mine lol.
Right?!
Benji you should speak Japanese to the girls. So they can learn as well..Love when you & Mel speak Japanese. 😊
I just love watching the Travis, whether it be this channel or itsjudyslife ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for including this shot @5:33
Hello benji. Loving youre video. And you speaking Japanese . Thankyou for sharing
Benji so nice to hear your Japanese here!! Enjoyed this video very much !
Benji Your Japanese is good! and you can read Japanese HIRAGANA too! So awesome👍🏻
Benji I love this video, just to see the differences and now I'll be familiar watching your Japan videos. I have watched you for years before JB and I knew you was part Japanese but didn't know you was actually fluent, impressive. Great video I enjoyed to the end.
Thank you Benji for showing Costco in Japan. And you are amazing can speak Japanese 😊 .
We went to Costco in Vancouver when visiting my daughter. I live in Western Australia. The setup was the same as our Australian one but some of the goods were different of course, especially with their seasons and weather being the opposite to us. We love Costco too! We only have two in our city. You should be able to use your Costco membership anywhere in the world. In Australia and Canada you can use your membership at either.
Loving these vids ty so much 😊😊
Thank you so much for sharing Benji! I’m from Europe and we don’t see such huge stores like these! 🥹
Our Costco in the Midwest sells seaweed salad! Wish you could have gone through some of the other aisles, but thanks for showing us what you could!
Me looking at the sushi platter 👀👀👀 a party?? Me and my spouse could kill that whole thing 😂
So so interesting Benji thank you
I hope Travis fam considers spending half the year in Asia.. love to see them touring the whole fam in Asia since they have asian decent as well. ❤😊
they (the girls) are only 1/4 western anyway. It'll be cool to see them explore more of their Asian heritage. They have two colourful & interesting ones.
So nice to hear Benji speaking Japanese!! And yes in Asia that giant size is really considered big😂
Everything in the snack bar looked delicious! But those strawberry shortcakes that you showed in the store. Those looked amazing! 🍓
I thoroughly enjoy your videos, Benjie! It's always a delight to see you exploring stores worldwide-it truly sparks my interest. I guess appreciating such content might be a sign of growing older, haha! 😂
Watching this vlog made me a subscriber. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Benji speak more Japanese than Judy speak tagalog. Interesting 😅
This was so cool! I follow a couple ppl in Japan but I’ve never seen them go to costco!
I’m obsessed with how thoughtful the Japanese are in every way. Everything they do is the most efficient, most wise, most well thought out way of doing a thing. Take the toilet, for example. There simply is no better toilet on the planet than any Japanese model. Much respect to Japan. I love that country so much.
That Wagu man! WOW! And that is a lot of mushrooms!! Thanks Benjamin!
I love Japan costco, from the bucket of chicken and fries, to the patient people waiting (actually wait in a line) for free samples. It’s a very pleasurable experience. My only wish is for the Kirkland brand t-shirts to say Kirkland in Kanji.
Thank you for posting your vlogs. We appreciate it Benji. ❤
My pleasure!!
🙋🏻♀️ there’s seaweed salad at costco in Washington state! My mom loves it, but it comes in a box vs in a bag like Japan. There’s also oysters as well, but in a jar instead. The giant carrots can be found at Lam Seafood
Happy seeing different countries grocery stores…..😊. So cute to hear your speaking Japanese 👍👍👍👍 Yes, some of their fridges are small fit very well in small kitchens👍
The pre-made food kits were pretty cool! Healthy and convenient
Agreed
Great Vlog! This was very interesting..
I'm going to Japan,so this is very helpful.
This was such a cool costco trip
I love that you can converse in Japanese, Benji! OMG, your kids can totally be trilingual 🥲💜
Wow another Costco trip 😮
Many more to come
These vlogs in Japan are soooooo good!!! I hope you guys could live there a few times a year. Have the girls learn Japanese
That’s so amazing and yummy. I love those seafood you show from Costco that we don’t have in U.S.
Enjoyed your Japan Costco shopping experience and was impressed with your Japanese skills with your shopping buddy. Would be interested in a video where you speak Japanese with the girls or teach us Japanese words that you currently use.
Thanks for the tour. I wish we had sukiyaki/gyudon meat at Costco in Canada and USA. Great Japanese speaking Benji👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🩷
I love their awesome sake selection! And it’s dirt cheap! Also their bento’s❤
WOW Benji. You go on with that Japanese. I loved it. You actually have taught me a bit. I always say” Ohayo Gozaimas”
I loved the video. Very helpful. I would like to see more of the frozen foods like ravioli, tortellini, lasagna? Tyson chicken tenders? Frozen breaded fish? We have an air fryer so breaded food can be cooked very quickly.
Watching you from Texas. I enjoy your kids.
Love the mushroom variety👍🏽 no samples? Lol
Apollo chocolate, my favorite, reminds me of my childhood. When I find it, I always buy it.
I’ve definitely seen seaweed salad at the Costco’s in the west coast. It’s just in a plastic square container.
Omg the arm sized octopus leg!!!!! That was crazy but also you should of brought judy
omg the re-saleable sour cream lays GENIUS!
diidnt realize how much Japanese Benji knew/spoke super cool!!
There is a TV show in Japan, where they do a segment of shopping, cooking and eating items bought at Costco. It's almost like a Costco ad, they show people the new items that Costco carries. The segment is on about once a month.
U and Judy inspire me to travel w my kids and not throw a fit!!! ❤ I want to go to Japan!!!!
My japanese cousins bought artificial sweeteners at US Costco. Also at our costco, we do have the dried sweet potatoes. Very sweet and yummy!
I noticed you didn't show any sample stations. Were there any or you just did't vlog that. Very interesting and thanks for sharing with us.
I’m so impressed by the size of the carrots! I wish American carrots were that big- would be a great yield for juicing! 🙏🏼
They sell that seaweed in the Costco here in Chicago! Those meal prep meals look so delicious. I can't believe you did not buy that yummy cake!
I wonder if the soil is more nutrient dense in Japan? those carrots look really delicious!
1. We have strawberry cakes in the US Costco. 2. We have small and large croissants 3. Our large chip bags are the same size and often smaller at Costco. 4. Our raw chicken is packaged the same way. 5. We have Serrano ham on the stand with the knife. 6. American Fuji apples are the same here. 7. You've never seen strawberry Haagen-Dazs???
I giggled when I noticed the tomato’s are from my town!😅 cool to think they’re all the way across the world!
@ 21:20....Hawaii stores have sea asparagus but not in Costco mega-sized!-lol
Food courts pretty cool we do have acai bowls in costco in america. Wish we had hazelnut swirl!❤🎉
Hi Guys. Pot Au Feu is literally Pot -On -The-Fire (so Hot Pot for short) in French. It's French Chicken Stew.
Gorgeous Octopi. I'm also fond of mushrooms. Here in Oaxaca we buy Mushrooms from Japanese and Chinese restaurants.
Volcanic soil is very fertile. The Green Onions looked like Leeks.
It was nice to hear spoken japanese. I study chinese but took a look at japanese back in the 1970s. Thanks for the tour to both of you...Origato Jim
They have seaweed salad and the thinly sliced beef in Canadian stores.
