- London's Costco in Wembley is simply brilliant. But what does it sell vs other countries? A giant boat, fire pits, inflatables bigger than your house? Let's find out!

Hello Barry nice to see you again. Fellow Gaby and Tim fan.
Totally agree!
Wow, thank you!
👍@@GerryLewis
Definitely 👍
The content coming out from you lately is even better than it used to be already, super relaxing vids and great different content don't give it up
I appreciate that!

It’s TUESDAY!! It’s 6pm!! It’s HANNAH time!! ❤.
I look forward to Tuesdays now!
Hannah time or hammer time 😅
Yes 👍 it’s Hannah time
Hello Hannah, my daughter and son-in-law they have a membership at Costco . They furnished their backyard
with Costco , and just last month had a pool installed and went to Costco and bought all their pool furnishings . It is gorgeous .
Being that kind of aunt you should totally make Nat roll her eyes again by getting that crocodile slide for your nieces!
I love listening to your random stories and waffle, please stop telling yourself nobody cares because this is why we’re watching ❤
I can see Hannah at home watching a movie enjoying a bag of crunchy seaweed with a bottle of Pepsi 😂
You can never talk too much! We all come here for the Hannah waffles!! 😂❤❤❤
Excellent vlog Hannah! Costco has always been the store where you go in for specific foods, etc and come out with furniture and appliances for the house.
You're practically using a vehicle to maneuver around the grocery stores where I live so do it in lieu of a workout!💪🛒💪 The carts are the size of BUICKS and don't dare try to pass another BUICK in the aisle because it won't be anything like two ships that pass in the night! Something's gotta give! EYE CARAMBA...they need to build bigger aisles or smaller carts!🛒🛒🛒🛒🛒🛒🛒
Love your videos, Hannah! This Costco video is really interesting when comparing it to the US where I live. I am flying in to London on Saturday for a month in the UK! I've learned so much about shopping in London since watching you. I'm a huge fan! 😊
I live in the states and Costco is very popular here. Every time we’re there we always spend more than we should of 😆
I would love to know how you got into costco? Because in the uk it's not open to the public, you have to be a registered business, be VAT registered, or be in certain professions such as teacher, front-line worker, lawyer or accountant. I would love to be able to go there. 😔
You can always go as a guest if you’re with a card owner.
"Since when did a chicken have ribs like this....." 🤣🤣😂😂
Hannah, you cannot talk too much in your vlogs -- so entertaining and refreshing to go shopping with you. Thank you for all you do.
Here in the States, I always get my prescription glasses, eye-exams, tuna fish, books, bread, potato chips. You do have to watch prices, some things are cheaper, some are not.
I could listen to you read the phone book. I love it. As someone who has been employed by Costco for the last 14 years I enjoy watching and comparing your stores to mine in Arizona. I should send you a short video of my store, we have a lot of the same products. Thanks for the laughs and the effort. 😅
Ahh yes, I also live here In Phoenix and I love my Costco! All the employees that I have helped me have always been very nice 😊. The only problem is that every time I go there, I spend more money than I should 😂. My fav are the muffins 😋
Love your commentary when you shop. It’s like going out with your sister 🥰
"OK, (@ 17:55) I'll show you (the muffins) because I can't deal with the aggro in the comments." Absolute classic, Hannah! 🤣
So great to compare what Costco selections are like oversees and the prices .... thanks so much for the tour Hannah ... keep shining in the vlogosphere and delivering quality and entertaining content :)
Happy Tuesday! Another fun vlog today, Hannah! I will confess to having a good laugh during today’s vlog…because I’ve said things that are identical or very similar to what you said about the items in Costco. It’s always an experience shopping there. Have an amazing week! See you Friday!
I was shocked at the membership rules. I have a membership here in the US but we don’t have those rules. All they care about is that you can pay for your membership.
Way back many many years ago when they used to be Price Club they had similar rules in the US. I've been a member for 37 years
The rules are imposed by the UK government, not Costco. It's funny how the lawmakers and associated bureaucrats in the aloof "professions" happen to be exempt from the rules. Hmm?
The profession specific membership rule is due to UK tax rules, if they allow everyone in then Costco will be hit with a higher tax and it will ended up costing more to customers.
@@AlexMa but it violates UK discrimination law. Which tax rule allows that?
@@AlexMaThey do occasionally bend the rules every now and then. I got my membership 7 years ago, and my occupation is in neither sector they've listed (I work as a forklift driver in retail logistics). They even visited my workplace to sell memberships. I always get my bog roll there.
We used to buy the giant muffin packs for my Mom. That was her breakfast everyday. She has since passed away but I think of her when I see them.
Costco shopping with you was delightful. It was great seeing the different items we in the US don't carry. I'm in the Seattle area of Washington. I literally have a Costco card for 3 things. The rotisserie chicken, smoked pulled pork package and their florals. And keep on with your chatting just as you are. Chatting with your subscribers like friends makes you much more relatable and fun. It's the very reason I subscribed.
It’s so easy to become a member of Costco in the US. Everyone is eligible, you just need to pay the fee. I miss Costco. I haven’t been in years. Interesting video. Thanks.
OMG regular people who need to buy in bulk are not permitted. A family of 5 is just as important as a barrister, lol.
Right? Also surely a business would want as many people as possible shopping there to maximize profit. Seems weird to be so restrictive
Not Costco's fault. They are a wholesaler and UK laws are very specific about who is allowed to buy wholesale.
The culture is based on the class system. Easy to ignore until you're on the bottom.
@@rnash999 Google said there are no restrictions on buying wholesale in the UK but it could be wrong. When I was a kid I remember my dad taking to me the cash and carry to buy stuff wholesale and we certainly didn't meet any of the qualifications that Costco are asking
@@MovieJustinthat’s just sad 😞
Our Costco here in the US anyone can buy a membership. I find it interesting in the UK you have to be of a specific profession
I could be mistaken, but I believe those professions were for the early opening before 10:00 a.m.
That was good fun! You butterflied your way through that store like so one else can. The commentary was definitely the highlight for me. I'm glad you picked up those flowers. They were stunning and such good value.
Good old Costco Hannah love it especially the Food section where they have the best value things and possibly garden furniture.Glad you went back there as it's always worth a visit.Great video as usual!!¡
Here in the U.S. it's just my husband and me, the kid is grown up, so there aren't a lot of items that we get at Costco. But, my husband loves the glass bottles of Coke-a-Cola from Mexico because it has real sugar and not the fructose syrup. And we definitely buy the large pack of toilet paper so we never run out. 😂
I am single and still shop at Costco, lol. 😂 I finally have cut out the high fructose corn syrup out of my diet so have given up regular coke. I do love the Mexican coke, but I am afraid if I start drinking that, the craving will come back. 😀
Real sugar is very unhealthy.
Costco is my husband’s favourite store 😂 I don’t go very often because the parking lot is crazy. We live in southern Ontario in Canada and we were amazed at the items you have in England we have here. I like buying the items to bake with, and my husband likes getting outdoor items for our yard and some of the plants are nice. We bought pansies at Easter and they are doing beautifully. We also love the fresh flowers. We don’t have a scanner when we enter the store, we have people checking our cards and they check our receipts when we leave. Love your videos, looking forward to Fridays!
I am absolutely loving this content lately. It’s amazing for those of us on a bit of a budget! ❤
Great video Hannah .. and just continue being yourself .. certainly no need to reduce your lovely chatter! You’re so much fun and it makes us feel we’re right there with you ❤ I really wish we were 😊
I love that you’re so chatty! I never feel like you’re talking too much, honestly. It’s like going somewhere with a friend for a fun afternoon. Your style of a friendly, natural video is my favorite. The most surprising things to me are the restrictions for having a card and the time limit! When you say the cakes are decorated in an American style, I’m wondering what the cake decorations are there. I’d love to see sometime!
Another fun vlog!
Yes, red velvet is chocolate with red food coloring. I don’t fancy them but so many of my friends do, I think because of the cream cheese frosting. 😁
I shop at Costco here in Texas. They have good quality organic food.
I love watching your vlogs. You give so many good ideas, clothing, restaurant etc Born and bred in London but you make it so much fun! Thank you x
Enjoying the shopping trips & the chats, great fun, thanks 😅
I just got back from my Costco here in Houston Texas. I love seeing all the different items your Costco has.
You can never talk too much it's what makes your videos worth watching. Great shopping trip x
I don’t see myself shopping at Costco. Thank you for the.clip it made me realised that small local stores are more my thing. Loving your earrings😊
I'm not sure why seeing someone shop at Costco is so entertaining but it is. It's your sparkling commentary. You seem to have so much more fun than I do as I throw my back out hoisting 42 lb. cat litter bags into my cart! Btw, my daughter loves designer purses so I sent her one of your videos. She loved it. Thanks Hannah!
I really enjoy watching your videos as you go to places in London
and I like how you go to stores there and seeing how they differ
from stores here in the US thank you Hannah.🇬🇧🥰🇬🇧
Hi Hannah, thats nut who can join or not. Here in the USA or at least in Florida, it don;t matter who joins.
I was surprised by that too! They got rid of those membership requirements years ago here in Canada. I assumed it was company wide!
The UK has weird laws on wholesalers. Deep down it's classism, an endemic problem in the UK.
@@johnkelly1083 not so sure that something that creates a club consisting of barristers/dentists/doctors and white van man/landscapers/plumbers is realistically a classism issue.
that damn alliance of the working class and the upper middle class against who?
@@andrewyoung749 It was a joke 😅
I'm pretty sure it violates UK discrimination laws too.
I love it when you chat! It is like shopping with a friend!
Absolutely love the banter you have with yourself and your viewers. Such a delight, you crack me up! I was surprised to see so many of the same types of items there as in the Costco in my hometown in the US. So many things I would call classic American. Glad Costco is spreading the love lol.
Fun vlog. You should buy the water stuff for your nieces 😉... and enjoy it when at their house!
I’m sure you’d join in with them and be a kid again ☺️
The cakes look sublime! I love Costco videos. I hope you do more of them. Thank you for this one! You do not talk too much. I enjoy your commentary.
Hannah's delightful. She has more patience than I ever would because if someone stopped me to ask me what I was filming I'd tell them to mind their own business (as if they're not being filmed, every single step they take when they go out in public or to suggest that anyone who ever takes a shot of anything in public is invading the public spaces that they happen to be a part of).
I do too!!
Sublime? Did you see that label with at least 100 chemicals - LOL .
@@antjee They are in everything.
Hi Hannah, don't stop waffling we love it, your funny and entertaining in every way. I've always wandered about Costco. None near me, maybe an hour or so away. I love that you want the croc slide and a bbq. Keep up the good work. Every kid needs an Aunt like you.
Your talking is engaging , charming , honest and sometimes very funny. You do these videos beautifully Hannah. Thank you
Loving these vlogs it's like shopping with a friend.
Thank you Hannah. Your videos are informative and makes me think of places to visit while in London. ❤️ from Fiji
Hannah I am impressed with how well you navigated thru Costco! I think they also have a very good wine section for both variety & price! Also, if you eat fresh berries, they always have great deals on strawberries & blueberries! It is nice to see how similar your Costco is to the stores in the US, for nearly all items! Thx Hannah for sharing this vlog, & I look forward to seeing your next one on Friday! Until then, have a nice week Hannah & stay safe!
Love costco AND Hannah blogs! Ive been a Costco member for over 35 years
Hello hanna love all vidoes thankyou so much
Love your vlogs Hannah ♥Since you're doing two per week and seem open to a variety of vlogs, would love to see you doing some creative things, such as taking a pottery class, dance class, cooking class, not sure how vloggable something like that would be.
Another wonderful Vlog, Hannah. We have a Costco in Bismarck, ND. Unfortunately, It's way on the outskirts of the north part of the city where traffic is a nightmare. Nice to see what the inside of one looks like.
I don't normally like this kind of content at all but you have such a lovely manner, really enjoy your videos, thanks Hannah!
I’ve always wanted to go around a Costco in UK (I’m a Brit living in California) I always thought I’d be able to get giant salad cream bottles and sacks of PG Tips! Turns out Costco is full of all the things that are in my local Costco in the US 😂 So surprised to see the giant inflatables! Thanks Hannah, you saved me a trip next time I’m home!
Any Canadians? Of course you've got Canadian fan Hannah! I mean we're pretty much UK's North American cousins! Mind you I've never seen that brand of maple biscuit before.
Don't sweat its probably: Maple _Flavoured_
Oh wow, did this vlog bring back memories!! Years ago when I lived in California I had a Costco membership, used mostly for bulk items to stock up on for my event planning/catering business, and found the type of cart you were using was always too small(!). Had to go with that industrial-sized flat-bed thing which takes a bit a maneuvering around the aisles on super-crowded days. Now that I've downsized considerably, living in Arizona and no longer in business, I don't have the need (nor storage space) for oversized/bulk items, thank heavens! Fun to see you slog through the store and hear your comments, though -- now take me back to all those cute little shops/restaurants in Central London, please. Cheers!
Great word for warehouse wholesale shopping...:"slogging" 👍
Love listening to you Hannah it’s what makes your videos so special ❤
Swinging summer pool party courtesy of Costco! Watching at 5.30am in wintery NZ . Anyone can be a member in the 2 stores here [or they'd have no customers].
Omg you have had me laughing this entire video with your commentary.
Also, when I visited London the hotel had packs of those Borders biscuits. I have been obsessed. They are so hard to get here in Florida… but I still have the wrapper on my fridge under a magnet so I don’t forget the exact flavor 😂😂😂
OMGOSH, HAHAHA!! Under a magnet in your fridge! FUNNY! I hope you're the only one who cleans out your fridge or someone might wonder if you're feeling okay, refrigerating magnets, lol!
@@isabellind1292 What? I don't get what you're saying....
@@R.Williams There's only two comments in the thread. Surely, you can connect the dots.
@@isabellind1292I was trying to be nice without pointing out your comment makes no sense. The OP didn’t say under a magnet in her fridge. She said ON her fridge. Exactly where everyone else keeps things they want to remember. What does that have to do with cleaning out your fridge?
@@R.Williams OH. I am so sorry! I misread the comment. I thought she said "in" her fridge! Oh right! I didn't even make the connection w/fridge magnets! Oy! I apologize that I made you look like the one who couldn't understand.🌺🌷🌼
Thank you, Hannah Ricketts for taking us along w/you to COSTCO!🛒🌞
Boy you are taking us everywhere ! Love those roses you bought so gorgeous! Thankyou so much for all the fun places you take us . Have a beautiful blessed day today 🙏🌷🌻🌹🌺🌼🌸💕
Ms. Hannah, I Love the 'odd' ❤❤❤ .. .. Almost all the Costco's here in the Colonies have Petrol Stations but none have as much Garden Greenery as yours .. ..
COSTCO clearly learned their lessons from McDonalds and are driven by their Real Estate Group that OKs all their warehouse locales .. .. If they decide to ever close a warehouse, imagine how much they could make by building a high-rise flats/retail complex instead .. .. So, even if a warehouse underperforms, they will still profit in the end .. .. Smart .. ..
Thanks. Haven’t been in a Costco in 20 years. Happy Spring!
You're not waffling on too much!! It's just right!! Be yourself Hannah!! I love you💖 for it!!!
Yes, Red Velvet Cake is actually Devil’s Food Cake with red dye added. It’s delicious with Cream Cheese frosting. I have heard that Costco food is pretty good, but I don’t have one near me to try. Thanks for the peak inside! Looks like so much fun to shop there. Thanks also for another great video! ❤
a true red velvet cake has only a hint of cocoa and the red coloring is from beets
@@donnabruhn5162 I never heard of that version before! Thanks for the info! 🙂
here in the states, some have different items always, the one in Guadalajara Mx. always have with the season 😁😁😁
Omg, this is so crazy I just rewatched your Christmas Costco vlog yesterday! Lovely vlog as always ❤
This is such a fun video. Believe it or not I was actually in Costco in the US today. We have about 80% of the exact same items over here and very similar if not, same price. Thank you Hanna for all of your amazing videos.
Another fabulous vlog, Hannah. I won't go to Costco in the USA,
it's too crowded, and the people are not nice. I'm talking about employees
and customers. I like how you just chat with us ,like we're right there
with you. Thanks again for the vlog, and Halloween would be
another great time to do a walk thru.
I’ve never experienced that. Granted, I haven’t seen to every Costco, only various stores in TX and KS.
I haven't experienced rude Costco employees, just the opposite here in California. Sorry you've had that experience 😕
Yes, Costco employees here in the Bay Area have been very nice and helpful..
In North American stores they have some odd items. I saw a section with Swiss watches. Some were over $3000. Many people get hooked on the cheap hot dogs or pizza slices. I saw one person buying a large 30 gallon drum of laundry detergent. My neighbor goes all the time. He had to buy two extra chest freezers to keep all the meat and other frozen items. Some things are similar priced to the grocery store chains. However there are many more items that are cheaper. The catch is you have to buy in bulk and have the storage space.
You can use a costco voucher without the card in US, not sure about UK
he's a prepper
Great to see Costco in the UK. Here in the US, it's crazy busy on weekends. The best time to go to Costco at least in the US is 1 hour before it closes or as soon as it opens.
Good morning Hannah.I hail from South Africa, where,to walk alone as you do in London,is not safe.So I enjoy ambling along with you thru London where I've not visited in years. So thank you for all the lovely info.
love ur vlogs hannah !!
I almost forgot..Hannah, could you possibly get a Post office box so you can get gift’s and/ or card’s from viewer’s ? I’d love to send something for your birthday 🎂. Just asking 😊
Never seen one of your videos before. I already have Costco membership. I just watched half an hour of you strolling round Costco and really enjoyed it! It's a testament to your presenting style that I enjoyed the video so much and have no idea why. Well done! 😃
Hats off to Hannah! how you do this, after a day at work, amazes me-and still so much energy! Loved the dress BTW!
Another fun bit of retail therapy! love sue x
I live in a small apartment in Northern California. Many of my neighbors load up at Costco and I wonder where they put the stuff. Years ago, I used one of the free passes sent to attys in my office and took the bus to our local store. I was amazed that everything came in huge lots. I picked out a 6-pak of tuna and a commemorative box of crayons and got in line. While waiting, I realized that since there were no bags and my purse was small, I would have to carry the items in my hands. Dropped them at the nearest surface and left. Never been back.
Enjoyed your video.
😂
Hannah Great Vlog. Love Seeing What's In These Big Shops. Xx 😊
Thanks for the tour. I have never visited a Costco store before. Walkers are my favourite. I am not one for water sports or camping. Stunning flowers. Ohhh M n Ms my favourite. Did you see some garden mirrors Hannah? Very interesting and enjoyed the shopping. Thank you.
I love these shopping videos thank you so much for making them there’s often places I wanted to check out and now I can on your channel ♥️♥️♥️
Hannah, your one offs make me lol 😂. “ Makes me look like a tax accountant “. I actually buy my glasses at Costco. I have a pair of Tiffany reading glasses with a diamond 💎 on either side. Great video Hannah 🎉❤
USA shoppers buy a year's worth of toilet paper or for 5 years. 😂
The hotdog and drink is a must buy. Such a great deal. 💰
Hi Hannah, don't change...love your waffling and nattering! Costco's in Canada are pretty much the same as in the UK. We don't swipe in with our card, but the is someone to check to make sure you have a card when you enter. I was comparing prices on some of the items, and with the difference in exchange rate, the prices are comparable. We love Costco, we always spend at least $400+. Love the cut flowers, they are such a good price. Thank you so much for sharing, appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos. Have a really lovely rest of the week! Lots of love Kathy x 🌸🌺
Hannah, your Costco vlog was super fun! You never talk too much. You are a delight to watch 😊 Canada's maple cookies are a staple here. Goes well dunking in tea. Tuxedo cake is very sinful. You should try it😂 Thank you for another fabulous vlog Hannah ❤
We had a Neopolitan Mastiff that loved the Roast Clhicken from Costco.
I'll bet he/she did! 😄
Do you feed your dog with Costco roast chicken? My god so posh 😂
Only as a treat
Thanks for taking us along Hannah. I’m not a fan of Costco. Never been inside one but it’s much like Sam’s club or a BJ Wholesale club. I’m not a member to any of them anymore. I think it’s all so excessive. Take care. ❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦋🐝🦀
Love the nattering Hannah, another great vlog. Never been to Costco so it was fun to see, thanks, see ya Friday 😊
Hi Hannah! Long-time viewer and appreciate your content and effervescent personality. Keep up the great work :-)
Hannah, I always enjoy watching your content on both Tuesday and Friday evenings here from London England 🇬🇧 Keep up the great work! ❤️
Did I just hear a cheeky f-bomb from Hannah? Love it!
Hey Hannah, Happy Tuesday! I enjoyed watching this video. Yesterday, I was at Costco in Washington DC 😂 Interestingly, the items in the UK are quite similar to those in Washington DC, but there are some things that are not available here. Also, in terms of pricing, let's say the white roose costs about $18; I believe it's around the same price in the UK if you convert the dollar to British Pound. Anyway, you can always find good deals on stuff at Costco. I hope you're having a great Tuesday evening, and I wish you a wonderful rest of the week. See you on Friday! 💐🇬🇧❤🇺🇸💐
Thank you for the Costco tour really enjoyed it x
Hannah , your vidios get better , and with your new camera much sharper, and you get more beautiful all all the time ,best wishes !!!
So funny, I was at our Costco in Canada this past week to their garden centre. Thank you for this video, your store is way bigger and more products. Love your new videos on your outing, so much fun. Our membership card is either Corporate group rate or regular and anyone can purchase. Can’t wait to see where you are taking us next. This is so much fun. I find for a single person buying in bulk a bit much, so I limit my purchases. Their rotisserie chickens are good and low price and I always buy one each visit.
Well done, your commentary was cracking us up , thanks for the great content.... cheers take care ...
18:02 Looking very cool today, Hannah! That “status” sign is terrible and excludes some people unnecessarily. I used to work in a similar warehouse back in the 1990s and yes, to let you in on a trade secret, that one of my colleagues told me that the trollies are large purposely so you fill it to the brim.
We are retired, just myself and my hubby. My Costco total monthly receipt usually ranges between $500. and $600.00 dollars for the usual food and cleaning staples…..(everybody is talking about how expensive food and cleaning items have gotten here in the USA.)
I shop their sale prices sometimes doubling up on stuff we use everyday, and try to limit premade food items, usually sticking to unprocessed foods.
We just had to replace our refrigerator, and Costco had the best prices plus a 2 year warranty….And I love their cash back credit card and membership benefits, like getting something for free….
For years, with a family of 4 children, our total Costco receipt would run around $300., to $400. dollars monthly….so you can see how much more food prices are today…
My “go to” items at Costco for quality and best all around prices are: Coffee, cheese, alcohol, paper products when on sale, garden bulbs, and some clothing.
Happy Tuesday. We haven't been to costco for ages. Let the, membership lapse. The one thing we did buy a lot was kitty litter, and toilet paper as we have septic where we live so we can only use a,certain kind. And it just got way too expensive. And half the stuff we found elsewhere and it was cheaper. The salads were nice but rather large for 1 person. It was good for when my parents were coming up over Christmas etc. Glad you found some items to do your 10 pound challenge. Glad it looks like it's starting to warm up for you. It's still strange weather here. Starting to cool down slightly but not cold enough yet to wear jumpers etc. Enjoy the rest of your week and catch you Saturday. ❤❤❤
Another super enjoyable video! And the sunglasses look great on you! Loved those roses. So pretty!
Here in the American southwest Costco offers some food items at a much better quality than the regular markets. It's a *big* difference. Things like bread, all baked goods, meats of all kinds. All sorts of food items.
Must buy item at Costco for us? Bananas 🍌
Great vlog, H! I have to say though, it’s sad to see the decline of British culture in terms of local shops on the High Street etc. UK in general has become very Americanized. As someone who grew up in a Canadian/Scottish family and visited in the 70s 80s and then the 2000s I noticed massive differences. Little differences in the 80s with McDonald’s etc. coming in at first, and then tonnes in the 2000s it was basically like visiting any major American city. Oh well, at least we still have the monarchy…lol
