Can't wait to see the next video and the progress, I myself have been wanting to attempt a project like this but much smaller like a 24' version still kinda on the rocks though as I don't have anywhere to build it.
I have plans for the same project. I was doing research and came across your videos. I'm just starting a 14ft wide x 32ft long houseboat quadtoon project. If you ever want to exchange notes or run over ideas let me know.
pretty cool shop, if you have oxy-acc tanks you know you can take the chill off larger pieces of metal before welding with a smaller wirefeed? not too long ago I was watching a bunch of your videos showing the boat heading out of Chicago - these trailer build videos are a surprise to me. the kid's got some good moves, probably get into Pro Football cheerleading & pro dancing then movies Mom will get a condo in Hawaii - Dad? 'maybe some free tickets ha ha ha cool to watch the project coming along
Hi Eric. You get things done. That's going to be truly a super Finn. Will you be able to walk around the cabin? What size motor are you installing? I'm already planning my next boat build. Next summer.
If it travels a long distance...then yes. I live 300 yards from the ramp at my lake. No problems with that. I can get a trip permit if I take it to lake Michigan.
Man, I wish I lived near you, I would love to help you with your project so I can gain knowledge and experience for my own future build.
Great build! Z bar to tie it all together is what we used on our boat too. Great stability and no flex!
lmao, your little girl is so cute!
Heck yeah! The trailer looks awesome!
Great Video Eric Love how the boat looks love how you are showing us your working on it I have a video coming out tomorrow with some big news.
I think you should have used square Alum Tubing over Wood 4x4 would be much liter and just as Strong maybe stronger...
I like the kid shots, cute kid!

Can you please share some info on registering, titling, documenting a self build houseboat? Thanks

There won't be any walkway around the cabin. Will have to walk through to get front to back. Trying to stick with the original motor...for now.
We need new content from you! What happened to this boat. Did u ever build it?
Sorry but I never finished it. I ended up selling it. We got our new tritoon and we've been using that a lot
At 12 ft wide do you need a permit to pull it down the road?

What happen to that little girl, look happy all the times going to be a pro - dancer. Just like my grand daughter.
Is that green treat wood? It eats aluminum!
Thank you for your comment. I am going to have to rethink things now. I did not realize they would react to each other.
If you can isolated the wood so they don't touch you may get away with it. I wonder how white oak compares in price to marine treated wood?
