Daredevil: Born Again is one of the best comic book storylines of all time, and is definitely in my top 5 marvel. The storytelling there is so good everyone should give it a read
People can say whatever they want about Frank. He's literally the reason why we have the Batman we love today and Daredevil. The Daredevil show is based on his works and so is pretty much EVERY Batman film.
For a sec I thought you meant Castle and wondered what the correlation between Batman and The Punisher was.

Millar May have fallen off later in his career, but i completely agree and consider his work on Batman and Daredevil to be among the greatest comic books of all time.
Miller back in the day was great, too bad these days he's just old out of touch grandpa with Trump derangment syndrome.

Gotta appreciate that despite the cosmic, multiverse-y direction the MCU is taking, they also put in as much stock for Daredevil. A man who can’t benchpress a planet, but he does keep stories grounded, at least.
That Frank Miller run is probably my second favourite marvel comics story. Such a gritty and grounded story. Introduced some iconic characters and features some of the most definitive versions of others including Matt himself. It also established Millar as one of the top comic writers of the 80’s, leading to many other incredible and iconic works that are still cherished to this day.

I love Marvel and most Marvel stories, but Daredevil always seems to get the good writers. Some of the most iconic runs for alot of writers seems to coke in DD. Loving the Chip Zdarsky run right now and hope it keeps going

I will say that my favorite runs on Daredevil would have to be Ed brubaker Brian Michael bendis and chips runs ( even though it wasn't for Frank Miller for being the inspiration for runs that came after him.)
Cuz the way Daredevil has been put through the pace he still considered in my eyes one of the best characters at marvel. And to think he's arguably on marvel side is had the most acclaimed runs in the last 20 years it's like very consistent with his story time.
And I can't wait for the show to come back on Disney Plus.

Glad you’re redoing some of character explained videos. I’ve been following you literally since the beginning in like 2016. Some of these characters have so much more content.

tmnt origin is greatly inspired from DD but as epic it would be, they’re not in the same verse, the child who was struck was also not named and according to the panels, wasn’t even blinded

i’ve only read the current Chip 2019 run of DD and the MWF 5 issue miniseries from the 90s but some of Miller’s run from the older comics sound amazing according to you, i might look into it but not sure but thx for the video man, this just made me love the character even more
