    Thank you for taking the time to shoot this video! Even though I'm dealing with a different set up (dixie chopper eagle 2760 - 2 separate tanks) and trying to get SOME idea of how to do this 'cause i noticed one of my little expansion tanks was looking kinda empty 😩, you're video definitely helped! Especially with your commentary answering the little "worry" questions i know would enter my head as I'm going along! And i have to admit- as sometime who is constantly almost stalling my engine by engaging before taking parking brake off, i had a good chuckle and really appreciated seeing a pro fall victim to the same! 😄 Thanks again! 😊

    Thanks, very helpful! For readers, oil type and filter part number, and sometimes the procedure, can usually be found in the owner's manual. Also, the oil level in the reservoir should be checked after bleeding the lines; top off as necessary.

    NICE! That looks exactly like my Lesco 54" zero turn, quick question.. you wouldn't happen to have a resource of the belt sizes would you? I heard the cadet tanks are the exact same too but don't quite know how accurate that is. Asking to keep from having to pull the belts then run to the parts store

    Great tips like taking the cap off .
    I bought my Bobcat 50” used and I had to buy a new carb for it and a pulley along with a battery . She’s having issues with the right hydro so I’ll change the fluid and add a new filter. I still have to install new blades that I specifically ordered online .

      Yeah not to mention right over the belt(s) so the oil can leak all over the rubber and soften those, of course we should probably remove the belt(s) but who does that? In this case I'd remove the one that needs replacing, then drain the oil...

    I recently tried to change the Hydraulic fluid in my JD Zero turn and followed the exact steps you did. After I purged the air out, or so I thought, by running the tires forward and backward, I dropped the mower to the ground and I got it to move 5 feet and the unit quit moving. I refilled the Hydraulic fluid to the full line and still nothing happened. I was told that the unit was not purged properly even though I opened breathing bolts a few turns and closed them to fill the fluid. Was I not purging the mower correctly?

    Did you leave the hydraulic tank cap off when you purge it ? How does the air get purged? I've never done one but I'm about tp do it on a Lesco zero turn

    • @ReichpoloTech
      @ReichpoloTech  Před 3 lety +3

      The hydraulic tank cap does not need to be left off to purge. The inlet and outlet are at the bottom of the tank, well below the fluid line. When the fluid is being drawn from the reservoir into the system it sucks fluid from the reservoir and when it cycles through it spits it back into the reservoir, when air bubbles get to the reservoir they float up into the top of the tank. There is always a little bit of air space in the top of the reservoir tank, but the inlet and outlet are nowhere near that air space unless your reservoir is almost completely empty.

    Hello, I got a 2006 cub cadet z force zero turn,can I put any type of oil or does it have to be hydro oil?

    • @ReichpoloTech
      @ReichpoloTech  Před 2 lety

      I know this not the answer that you probably want, but follow your manual. My manual says 15W50 , but other manuals say hydro oil. The safest bet is to follow your manual. I was looking at your manual online and they give very little info on them. It is a residential model so the manuals typically say for you to contact the dealer, because they don't want you doing it yourself, or they feel that you may not have the proper tools. I can't really give you a good suggestion, since I am not really familiar with your mower. If you are completely set on doing it yourself, then possibly call a cub cadet dealer and just ask them what type of oil is used for the hydro system. Good luck with it.
