    The genius in this sketch is that Harry and Paul had the comedic third eye to realise saying 40 - 45 years several times over would be funny , but my god is it, the two surgeons characters,accent and delivery do help as well.

    Everytime somebody ANYWHERE says 40-45 in anything me and my mates break out laughing.
    e.g we had ordered a pizza and she said it would be about 40-45 mins, so i started going 40-45? 40-40-45? and the pizza person was like wtf? hahaha.

    These two no longer the flavour of the month. I see uncomplimentary comments on some of the you tube output. Let themgo drink the sea,this is comedy gold, silly as a sack load, and brilliantly executed. Hats off to Harry and Paul and thank you.

    I love this sketch. I remember a few months ago I was at a works do in a hotel and we were talking about Harry and Paul and mentioning this sketch. We then asked how long is the bar open for and one of the lads with us just passed and said 40, 45 minutes and we cried with laughter!

    Paul Whitehouse is a genius. You'd hardly know it was him in this sketch. He embodies the posh surgeon character completely.

    One thing I love about this, the characters are so endearingly drawn. In Harry and Paul's earlier stuff, there was a kind of spite against the spoilt teenagers and the slobs.

    I remember the first time I saw this I ended up rolling about laughing. And now, it has had the same effect. This is brilliant comedy. These characters are perfect and the dialogue...superb!
    Edit: I've recently shown these 'Surgeon' clips to my daughters and they quote them non stop. Especially this classic. Oh also the 'Quare' clips. So funny. They wondered, as did I, whether it May be the same Bunny.

    MY friend Hayley was shotgun in the car and said she was starting a new job in Newbury, I asked, innocently, how long will that take? 40 minutes? She replied 40,45. MY mate Boo in the back seat stuck his fist forward for a fistbump as we chuckled away to ourselves, and we wouldnt xplain what it meant. Once she found it, she was bang on board
