Tony, not sure if you care but you can still get the arb. It’s called the deluxe awning room. It’s on various websites for about 285. Just thought you’d like to know.
I would think that even if the zipper system was flipped you still couldn’t have it half way open and use the door. Although I still agree maybe it should be flipped since you could use it to cover the lower part of the vehicle and leave the window of the vehicle open. This would at least give partial access to vehicle while blocking things like wind and dust from blowing in under the vehicle. This would allow some form of access to your dogs as I know you mentioned in another video. Would you usually have them sleep in the tent portion with you or in the truck?
They usually sleep in the tent under the cots. And you’re right, it’s mainly window access that we’d used that for, though there’s still a good ten inches up to and just past the running boards that would still be a viable barrier, at least for scorpions. : )

Hey! Wondering if you think the ARB awning room would fit the Roam awning?
It appears so as far as the interface fore and aft of the awning. If they're the same size the room should fit.
Just set mine up for 1st time and the sag inside is unacceptable. Unfortunately they won’t take it back after it’s been used.
