They had a really interesting evil ending and it would have been awesome to see a sequel about that. maybe in the sequel spider man would have fought the avengers. I say that they missed a great opportunity because Spiderman web of shadows is really the best Spiderman game.

It would ve been cool if he killed s wolverine and then , every avenger . And, finally, takin over the entire world ....with a sexy cat for his queen....

khetanisultan94 yeah, read Agent Venom and the Guardians of the Galaxy, they travel to the Symbiote home world, the Symbiotes are actually called the Klyntar and they told Agent Venom and the GOTG how they seek perfect hosts and all that, they only become bad of they find a bad host, for example Cletus Kasady, he's a psychopathic murderer the Carnage Symbiote bonded with Kasady causing corruption to the Symbiote making them bad, understand now??

WorkGalaxy47 if it stays without a host for a while, it becomes corrupt, even if it finally ends up with a host, eventually it'll become corrupted, if it bonds with a corrupted host such as Cletus Kasady, then the Symbiote will be corrupted as well

Will 2139 there are few games and comics with Symbiote invasions, but not like this and I think the idea is similar to the Planet of the Symbiotes saga where Carnage absorbed the mass of other symbiotes to turn into a giant

Gosh, the final form of Venom reminds me so much of he Devil Hulk from The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Mainly the size, the teeth and the voice, haha.

Which one you think would win Devil Hulk or the final form of Venom. Remember Devil hulk was trying to rip of Hulk's head in the final fight with them 2. But Venom was trying to freaking smash spiderman in the final fight hmm
lyderius johnson Well actually he wasn't trying to rip off his head; he was attempting to convince Bruce to accept m as the next stage in Gamma evolution and - as well as evolve the Hulk into the Devil Hulk - also destroy the Earth. Venom's final form is relatable to some degree in terms of motives.
Though considering the Devil Hulk is the evolution of the strongest one there is, he'd pretty much beat final venom to a pulp. I mean look how immobile and impractical final Venom looks, heh. Not saying he's bad but I think he'd be outranked IMO.
Shame there isn’t an ending where you can save the city but have Black Cat instead of MJ.
And the Klintars found their new home with their new ruler and lived happily ever after, except for those who aren't possessed by a Symbiote except for their new Symbiote Assassin Wolverine, who if Spidey defeats, might be his second lieutenant lol
You know after the symbiote vulture fight I wish they would've changed the black suit from regular to fully bonded Spiderman aka Poison from the what if comic. But with the powers he gained from his inner spider along with it. Now that would've been so badass
Douglas Pryor Wow, I just looked up the poison suit and it looks incredible. You're right though. That would have been awesome to turn into the fully bonded version on this game. That's why I wish a sequel was made. They could do an incredible job on it and improve so many things.
I wish someone would get in touch with the makers of the game and give the suggestion. Really wish for a sequel.

It's possible but I don't think it'll happen any time soon. Treyarch developed the Spider-Man games which include Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, Web of Shadows, and Spider-Man': The Movie. Overall, the decision to use Treyarch as the leading developer for Spider-Man games is up to Activision. Treyarch is owned by Activision, including Beenox. And I think web of shadows didn't do great in sales, so they removed them and brought in Beenox to develop future Spider-Man games. Beenox has developed Shattered Dimensions, Edge of Time, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Beenox can't compete to the Spider-Man games developed by Treyarch.
Now that sucks , I know for a fact that the game has good ratings.

The ending I got was where you gained the city but didn't have anyone with you like black cat, I remember him saying something about MJ and that was it, then I got the wolverine cut scene. Awesome game through and through.

Carnage does that in the comics at one point.
There were 5 guys with a little piece of the Carnage Symbiote in their robotic suits. Carnage took control over those fragments, contorted their bodies until their bones broke, using only his mind, then forced them back into him with the people still attached and Wore the 5 dead guys like clothing, becoming much larger as a result

I always was a goody-goody in video games, and completed this game like 3 times, always on the same ending: Don't be evil; Grab guy's hand; get black costume removed by the giant venom.

red is use ful in situations of face to face,like the black cat[normal].red is more agile and can do faster counter attacks and can easily increase the hit counter.
Oh you've mistaken me I meant when you were using the black suit on this video and you were given a choice at 14:19 what would've happen if you chose the red Spiderman icon on the right? Can you post that ending? Not the one using the red and blue suit which I've seen.
john03ification I didn't get that ending but it's basically the same thing as this one except Black Cat isn't by your side. That would be considered the Anti-Villain ending.

Spider-Man is pretty much Kratos in this game. Minus the magic, plus the symbiote and Spider-Powers.

Gotta say, I think Wolverine-Venom would probably take out Spidey with a symbiot...that healing factor, the indestructible skeleton, they'd have to be nearly-equal strength.
I presume Spidey beat him earlier but...y'know, hero- (or villains or anti-villains or anti-heroes or whatever-the-fuck they are....they tend to go back'n'forth)
I'm a little late but I heavily doubt it...
Spider-Man at this point is more powerful than he was before, maybe even stronger than Venom himself. He's also leading a symbiote army, it's possible but it's unlikely that even symbiote Wolverine would beat Spidey that easily.
0:57 Black Cat will NOT be present on the Helicarrier if you choose the Red Option after she is defeated in her Symbiote form and Vulture transports you to the airship as a result of you making more "Black" decisions than "Red," right?

TheGTAFiver Sorry for the late response. By doing the bad path, it made me enjoy this game a lot more. Using the black suit is just much more fun to use to compared to his default one. The only thing that would make this game better is if the choices had more of a different outcome instead of a slight change. Since beating both paths of the game and making choices, there aren't that many differences. They're just small changes, but nothing that actually leaves an impression on you. But overall, this is definitely one of the better Spider-Man games to date. I would definitely include this in my top 5 Spider-Man games.

I think people are forgetting that Wolverine wasn’t in complete control the first time he had the Symbiote. So now that he is, his fighting tactics & approach will be different, & he could very well win. It was obviously going to be a thing, too bad we never got a sequel to know for sure

U can't change suits in the final mission, either because you lost the black suit, or because you fully embraced it

Dunno if you still check the comments here or not, Anonymous Affection, but I gotta ask you: do you get full good ending or good ending without Mary Jane, if you go always on the good side, but pick evil side and save Black Cat from a certain death by giving her a symbiote? Only this particular time and nowhere else.

red and black cannot be compared.comparing red to black is like comparing celcius scale to farenheit.

Hope? I guarantee it will be a great game. Insomniac Games are fantastic developers and considering it's not really hard to make a good spider-man game, they should be able to pull this off easily. Even if this game doesn't exceed your expectations, there's no way it would be worse than The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

I would put it more on the terrible side than in between. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was boring, dull and lifeless. Graphically, it's better but the graphics are useless if the gameplay itself was trash.
TASM2 is the only spider-man game I refuse to purchase and have actually forgotten about it.
What makes this game so terrible is that a crime keeps popping up every minute and then the game automatically picks a crime for you to do and you have to hurry up and reach it before time expires. If you failed to reach it, you start becoming a menace. And this keep popping up constantly throughout the game and never gives you a chance to just roam in the game and have some fun. Plus, the web rush mechanic was off in that game when compared to the first one. It doesn't work as smoothly as it should when you're pressing the button to just attach to a building and web rush to another one.
The story is also extremely short and the boss fights were uninteresting. Truly a terrible game.

You can like the game all you want as that's fine with me. But what I stated about this game wasn't an opinion. I was actually stating facts.
1. The story is actually short, consisting of only 14 missions and you can beat them rather quickly. The story rounds up to around 4-5 hours at best.
2. The Hero or Menace system is in fact, terribly flawed. It continuously brings up crimes for you to solve without any chance to free roam around the city. If you don't solve the crimes, you become a menace. Once you're a menace, the task force will constantly try to kill you until you do side missions and get back into hero status. That completely ruins the whole free roams aspects of the game if you're always forced to do side missions. And this is the only spider-man game that has implemented this idiotic idea.
Plenty of other open world games such Infamous, Prototype and the Arkham series didn't implement this idea because it would ruin the freedom to do what you want to do at your own pace.
