If it's a freightliner cascadia, hold the climate control button and the snowflake button down together for three seconds until they blink. Make sure the climate control and the blower option buttons are both set all the way to the left at 0. Once they blink shut the truck off and turn it back on. This resets the a/c, common glitch with those trucks.
Yeah everyone thinks life is peachy as a trucker when they have absolutely no idea how difficult the job is for truckers. I've had to sleep in hot trucks a number of times when the air conditioning was broken. This is a really bad safety problem. Really bad. It's a really dangerous problem cause there's no way to sleep. You cannot sleep in a hot truck, at least not for long. Lack of sleep is a major safety issue. Never leave out on load unless the air conditioning is working properly. Otherwise you could crash the truck from lack of sleep which you will not get any sleep in a hot truck.

I notice how he never gets out of his truck, tho knowing he's in the wrong & doesn't care!! He's whats wrong with most drivers! If he's a company driver, he doesn't care if someone hits him, because his company has to pay for it! He wouldn't think its funny if someone pulled his 5th wheel while he was sitting there!

Maybe he wouldn't move because the truck in front of him might of cut him off trying to get to the pump first. I see guys try to block the whole fuel station so they can go the the bay thats opening up first. It's crazy out here.

That's the new trend now long of trucks waiting for a pump to free up I just usually bypass them all if they say something I say u all parked there 7 fuel lanes and noone in line
So drivers don't care where they park. There could be a one way in one way out and they'll block 75% of up. Even with a parking lot with 100 open spaces they'll block the driveway. Never understood that

That's because most of today's drivers are idiot's and more than half don't understand English. The old school glory days off trucking is dead. No more respect and consideration for other drivers. My father was a old school respectful driver and that is how I was taught. To respect one another out here but what I noticed is that a large majority of the truck drivers out here don't have that value.
I'm also going to say that a large number of drivers out here are anything but professional

They never park they Avondale them oh as far ac not working lol.. lets see how us old friends lasted this long.. no ac in trucks to begin with no power steering in half trucks. And you actually help or unloaded and loaded your truck.. after driving.. lol these guys today have no clue and just think they stories made up..
This is why I call over the CB to get someone to tell me if there is a fluster cluck at the fuel before exiting the interstate; this has saved me a lot of time.

95% of the Loves & Pilot's are too small & most of the maintance shop locations are never in a good spot😟

Agreed. Even though some loves are usually bigger than a pilot. A pilot is usually my last resort for parking I usually don't stay at a pilot. Most of the time I'm looking for a Petro or flying j. Sometimes a TA but not a big fan of the TA

@@Red_Nanaki yeah the paid parking. That's another reason why I don't really do TAs. I would go to a rest area myself than pay for parking. We are out here working and should not have to pay for parking. I don't agree with it.
Never go across the Mojave Desert during the daytime with no AC your charcoal get about a hundred 27° on the inside and you will be sick by the time you get off the flats

That pilot inside of the I-485 loop in the charlotte, nc area & the love's off I-10 in port allen, la in the baton rouge metro are major clusterfucks too, the fuel islands will back up into the street at both of them & their parking lots are just as bad!!

What worked for my AC is shutting my truck off for about 5 minutes, then turning my key on and off without starting it and with the AC completely off . I did that about 5 times in a row and that reset the AC, that's what my company's (Covenant Transport) breakdown department told me to do. I'm in a 2020 T680 KW. It sux when the AC quits, this is a brand new truck and I couldn't believe something already quit lol. But I was told it wasn't a big deal, it hasn't quit since then.
No fight just fussing y’all wasted 8:32 seconds of my life 🤦🏽♂️

Damn wish ya knew the whole extent of the parking lot confrontation 😅 a lot of these drivers be stupid sometimes i don’t fuck with truck stops unless I’m fueling or showering, rest stops are my go to but weight stations are my favorite cause hardly anybody ever parks there and state police never give a problem

If I was still driving I would lie and say that I was unemployed. It’s too embarrassing to be counted among modern day wheel holders.
I have a channel but I love flipping through and supporting other drivers. Keep up the great work driver
2 things. Some drivers out here will block the drive waiting for a fuel pump to open instead of just pulling up behind a truck at a pump. Then they get pissed when you go around them. The other thing is that was a flat bedder we all know most of them cant back up.
When your a/c does that you need to reset it. Turn the truck off, make sure the air is off(knob on left), turn the heat all the way up(knob in middle) turn the knob on right pointing at the face. Turn key to right without starting truck. Hold the two buttons (left and middle knob) in until the lights start and stop blinking. You will hear the vents opening up so it will work properly. After the lights stop blinking, start your truck and works.

You should download the Pilot/Flying J app so you can reserves your shower from inside the truck instead of walking inside to the kiosk.

Hey what ended up being the problem with your AC and where did you have it fixed?.. I've been having what sounds like the same issue and no one has been able to help 🥵🥵
Sometimes the ac may get frozen over. Turn it off for a couple of hrs and that may fix the problem. May just need defrosting. God Bless!

Its your a/c compressor that needed to be fixed. I had that happen on my Cascadia 2020 it went in the shop for 3 days.

I've been trucking 40 years and it saddens me to see what this industry has come to, I'm glad I grew up in a real trucking family and got to experience the real side of real trucking and the brotherhood that used to be out there, this idiot driving the skateboard should have been reported to his company backed up by the video, the other driver should have not acted like a tough guy as this type of crap is what keeps the coroner busy, you don't know what kind of reason for this guy to act like this and may have been looking for trouble already, either way, this ain't the old days where you just yank a idiot out of the cab and whip his ass,to many camera's and in the end nobody wins, as hard as it is not to put a cap in somebody's head for being a idiot, you gotta just overcome it and go about your day and realize there is nothing or anyone out there worth losing your life or freedom to, I'll be damned if I hand that kind of power and control over me to some idiot that ain't making my payments or feeding my family, everyone stay safe out there.

I didn't have air condition in the Schneider trucks for almost 14 years... I used to get sick from the heat trying to sleep... I finally got with a company who has air conditioning... Way better

Turn the truck off and see if it unthaw also check your intake a/c filters

I was just a run of the mill mediocre trucker till I took direction from Red Viking Werewolf and now because of his organic supplements and high power coffee enemas I am running over 300 miles a days with all the energy a 35 year old man could dream of.

That truck was from a relatively new company. They have 1 truck, a 2019. But for a truck that new, they don't maintain it. In just one inspection, which they were put out of service for, they had the following violations. Inoperative headlamps, inoperative turn signals, inoperative brake lamps, inoperative/defective wipers, inspection, repairs, maintenance or parts accessories, and leaking hub inner wheel.

Somebody will park in the fuel aisle and go take a shower or go inside and eat.. Back in January I had to wake a guy up and tell him to move because he was taking his 10-hour break in a fuel aisle..
