- Living in smaller spaces is often cheaper and more sustainable than living in a larger home. In this video I share the things I have in my 300sqft apartment and how they can make a small space feel much bigger, whilst saving time and money in the process.

Daniel Titchener random question - the grey T-shirt you are wearing at 2:08. Where did you buy it? đŹ
I wish your face is more featured on the video đ
Completely off topic, but I like how simple and straight forward this video is. You got to the point and gave us the tour in 3 minutes. It was high quality, concise content. Nice work!
Agreed
Agree too!! The over 10 minute vids of tiny apartments seems ridiculous to me!!!
well said. Totally agree.

I solved the issue by moving out of London
Capital cities like London, Mumbai (India) are always very crowded. Apartments are very costly, if you live somewhere else, can buy bigger home...

I really like how this one wasn't just a micro apartment heavily remodeled to suit modern needs but mainly just fitted with the right furniture to make it work. More inspiring and realistic since so many landlords won't let you even poke a hole in the wall for a picture frame.
Really well designed. And I like the point about NOT remodeling the bath. So often "better" is the enemy of good enough.
This is so true! Thank you so much!
There are ways of remodeling a bathroom for very little money. Obviously renters don't have the choice but I think in general people should consider other options then tiles when wanting budget bathroom remodel.
@@leoprg5330 I would love to do something with waterproof stucco in my bathroom, but my tile is fine.

The video is proof that an apartment that size can be a living space for two people. Lots of light colors, windows that light the apartment, smart choice of furniture and a minimalistic lifestyle make this apartment so appealing. Very inspiring vid.
I like the way you justify not remodeling your bathroom and kitchen lol. I really like youâre space!
Haha! đ I have to keep telling myself the same thing every time I see the cracks and blemishes. Maybe Iâll do a video on sustainable renovation at some point. đ€
This is definitely one of my favorite videos om small spaces. I really loved your approach to going from living to dining. You focused less on space decor like other vloggers and really highlighted how to create functionality without necessarily being a pro designer. Great job
Bravo! This is the best use of space in a small apartment I've seen in quite a long time. I love that is simple yet stylish, without complicated solutions such as mezzanines that only make the space look cluttered. Enjoy your lovely home đ
Iâve been living a minimalist lifestyle but not by choice lol, i live in a 300ft garage that was turned into a small house: 1 room, kitchen, and bathroom. I have grown in this space these past 10 years and Iâve learned to love the space. An approach to minimalism has made my space feel a bit more bigger. :)
Dining table idea was quite impressive. Bed space was also effectively used. I really loved the minimal design of yours.
The projector idea is top notch ingenious mate. Grabbing some ideas for interiors in my future house
Love everything especially the clever use of dressers to mount the bed. So smart!
Love the bed idea and how it was built on top of some dressers (with a bed frame of course!) Great way to make use of a small space!
Some really clever and tasteful choices youâve made within the space constraints.
Can you share where the adjustable table is from please?
Thank you Jimmy! I got the table from made.com. Made is a European company, but I know Spacemaster do similar ones in the U.S in case youâre from there! Hope this helps! đ
Daniel Titchener This was going to be my question too... thanks! đ
Daniel Titchener thanks for the video mate. I canât find this table on their website :/
@@Zeujaboy I found it! It's called the Rhys table.

Just about to ask for it :D
Loved this. I appreciate your comments about the bathroom and kitchen, making do to avoid unnecessary waste. Your bed was genius. Well done
The white interior palette makes it look larger than it is, plus sculptural and elegant. You and your sweetheart have a lot to be proud of. It's so tidy and beautiful!
Brilliant idea to use dressers as the bed base. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Thanks so much for watching! đ

I thought the same! Had to check what channel I was on.
Randolp Ascaño I was about to point out the same but Daniel has a crisper, sharper pronunciation.
The description is just like the decor. Very precise and matter of fact. Space used so well
The best one Iâve seen so far. Beautifully designed and functional. I love it!
This is a very cool apartment and it is a great use of space you have.
Ps: when you pulled the monitor from the wall, I couldn't help but remebering Michael's plasma tv at the office's dinner party.
Minimal all the way. I've just moved to a bed with no storage it's been an exciting challenge to realise I don't need unnecessary clutter on my living space. Bigger the house creates more stuff.
I feel so calm living in my open uncluttered space.
Well done to you both.
I loved how you made all what can be minimalistic possible while still staying realistic on things like the bathroom and kitchen (and I have seen a lot of videos on that). Great and Smart job !
i've never thought i like small apartments. this one in particular is my favorite! i wish i'm living in an apt. now, good stuff with what you did to your apartment.
So lit , everything is highly decorated and highy organazied . Emmm gut gut
I like the idea of console double-up as sitting bench, and window blinds double-up as projector screen. Great job! đđ
Thanks Vic!
Beautiful and clever use of the space. Brilliant bed/storage platform. The kitchen and bathroom are just fine, no need to remodel. Your decision to spare the planet the waste from a remodel, and to value your time, are tremendous priorities.
Your video is so minimal and to the point as well. Excellent!
So nice. I would love to live in a space like this. I like that it has an actual tub. Thanks for sharing.
Iâm in the process of moving from a 25sqm place to 38sqm (both in London too), and Iâm definitely taking some of these ideas as inspiration :) Such a vast amount of storage under the bed is genius, and I love the convertible dining/coffee table :)
Thanks for sharing! Your flat looks incredibly clever and functional! Also you have a nice taste for furniture and colours.
Thank you Richard! đ
I just moved from a 100m^2 to a 50m^2 apartment and this gives me some great ideas for how to maximize the space we have đ Thanks for a great video!
Just found your channel. So good. My partner and I have just bought a townhouse as our first home and I was looking for storage solutions. We are already quite minimalist as it is, but your channel has given me loads of ideas to improve on that. Absolutely live your channel and your taste in interior design.
Wow, your home is gorgeous and functional. Love love love it!
Thank you Melanie!! Iâm glad you like it! đ
This is the sickest minimalist apartment video I ever seen
This might be my favorite tiny space. Love it.
Thanks for sharing! I love ur apartment, and your ideas with the bed and the kitchen/sofa table is very smart! I'm searching for a smaller apartment for myself and my dog and im getting rid of things almost every day, both selling and donating to second hand stores that helps people in need. To get rid of things gives me a hyped feeling, that makes me keep going. One day i'm finally able to define myself as a minimalist.
Iâm loving the table đđŸ
Like the bed back with chest of draws, really good too tip.
love your space! so beautiful & neat & well designed. Even in small spaces we can live comfortably
I'm liking the projector day by day.. Great use of space.
Great use of the space. Nice tour.
Thank you Ann!
Nice apartment and nice guy with a relaxing voice.
Thanks Nicola! Hearing my voice on video has always made me cringe đ so itâs encouraging to hear that you found it bearable! đ
Great videos. Love how you just get straight to the point with the content. Thank you.
That's a great table. Love the projector idea as well - my wife hates having a TV in the room, but a hidden solution like that is a great compromise.
I really respect the choice NOT to remodel the kitchen and bathroom, maintaining a perfectly functional space. Very impressive.
Great space and showcase. Saved this for inspiration
Thanks Lex! I'll be doing a follow up video soon on the cost and design. Make sure you're subscribed for more of the same! :)
This is so beautiful and calming. Wow
love your small space....the cocktail table, your bed, and your creativity......life is about living as minimal as possible....i have a 400 square foot studio.....thanks Daniel...jeff
I'm not gonna lie in reference to me trying to figure out how to model a small minimalist apartment I didn't think I'd find a video that would somehow bring shitloads of class high techness to it all. Some of the stuff here is actually class and is definitely way above what I had in mind.
At under 30 square meters you canât really not be minimalistic
I'm gonna steal your desk idea. I love it!
I loved how you made you made use of the space
It is funny how, you mentioned the bathroom, how quickly one can come use to a space if it is functional, possibly not visually what one wants, but functional. If one has other more important things to do the fact that the bathroom isn't ideal, falls by the way side. Cool setup, thank you for the tour.
Thanks Fanjan!

This is so amazing! The house and the video. You have inspired to buy a house which is âokayâ size and spend on good furniture which will serve multiple purpose. The dresser bed is genius!
This is the best small space video I have seen. Also the bed and the table are great.
This is my kind of perfect small home. When i move out of my parents house i want to find something that small or around 40 m2 on purpose.I dont need both a sofa and a bed.I would have a sofa that turns into a bed. Also a foldable table and chairs so i can store them easily
stavroulathebest itâs all nice and good until you start buying things and you run out of space. Or you want to have people over and thereâs no space. Small flats feel really claustrophobic after a while
@@Everlak89 with a small house i dont intent on bying many things or multiple of things. Also i would not invite people that much and not many people every time
stavroulathebest You canât really plan on not buying too many things. You will need things and at some point down the line youâll run out of space. Clothes, books, kitchenware, whatever. Small housing space are not healthy. Not matter what you say, people need space, not a cage dressed up as home.
@@Everlak89 I'm in my 60's and do quite well in a very small condo. I've lived in large homes and small. I pare down my possessions accordingly. My home that I disliked the most had 3 bathrooms...lots of space. Spent all my time cleaning bathrooms. You seem to think life consists of endless accumulation until you die. Big homes are not healthy....you have to work more to afford them, they use up more resources to heat them, create a larger footprint on the earth........
I'm just looking for the link to that coffee table! Genius!!!
I watched all your vids. Thank you for sharing your ideas and even your philosophy of minimalism to us. Very inspiring.

i am soon moving in a small apartment in Germany by myself and im really hyped about being able to furbish it the way i want, as it has no furniture inside. I just got into the minimalist mentality as my life has always been cluttered of useless junk (and people) and your channel is giving me great inspiration
you had me at the adjustable table, love how you've maximized the space!!

Your home is perfect!!! I just bought a small home and finally going to be decorating it for my own, thanks for the vid and ideas!!!
such a small bedroom actually gives me anxiety . Not worth living in London .
This apartment is brilliantly put together. Did you design it?
I loved everything, especially the bed. Great video !
The protector idea is very clever!
Iam missing floor maps to give me a better overview, besides that - pretty nifty and well thought! Bravo!
Hey Daniel, this is brilliant - thanks for making this. Do you mind sharing what general part of London this is in? I've been searching for microapartments in London for a few months and always coming up empty.
Thanks Nikhil! If you search for Studio apartments you're sure to find plenty of spaces of a similar size in London :)
I like looking at these because it gives me ideas for my less than 600 sq foot apartment.
Such a good video! Simple and direct to the point
Looool this is the size of my last two apartments. Never calling them small again, now they are ~minimalist micro~ and I did it to save the environment, not because I am poor lol love it! Great tips!
Iâve been searching for this table for so long and in the end I had to compromise with one coffee table and one tiny dinning table. I quickly realized how expensive those saving space furnitures aređ
Yeah, they're not always cheap, but in some circumstances they can be totally worth it because of the space you save! :)
I love the coffee/dining table too! I found one just like it here: www.expandfurniture.com
I can't believe how much more the same table is over there! Mine was ÂŁ350... It looks like you can get a similar transforming table from Spacemaster in the U.S for $280. Hope this helps!

I really enjoyed watching your video of your tiny but beautiful space. I like the minimalist approach.
Quick, simple and to the point. Thank you so much for sharing this. In these last few years I've been striving more and more to live a minimalistic lifestyle after realising how much unnecessary "stuff" I have.
